Here are the lyrics and translation:

Mat kar too abhimaan re bande, Jhoothee teree shaan re

Do not become entangled in the practice of β€˜pride’ and β€˜conceit’. This is false. Your pomp is only pseudo

Tere jaise laakho aaye, Laakho is maatee ne khaaye

Rahaa naa naam nishaan re bande

Like you, thousands have come before and exhibited this kind of behavior and all of them have eventually taken a place in the clay or cremated. There is no sign of their presense anymore.

Jhoothee maayaa jhoothee kaayaa, Vo teraa jo Hari gun gaayaa

Japle Hari kaa Namm re bande

The β€˜Maayaa’ is false so is this β€˜body’. Those who sing the praises of God understand β€˜reality’. Without any delay, let’s chant the name of the Lord.

Tere paas hai heere mote, Mere man mandir me jyoti

Kaun huwaa dhanwaan re bande

You may possess diamonds and pearls, but in the mandir (temple) of the mind there is the eternal spiritual light. Of the two who is richer or more prosperous

Enjoy!

Mits. It all depends on your definition of Pride. If people do not take pride in what they do, this world will be a sad place.(Yugi, I am speaking about false pride. I am in no way saying I don't possess any.)

As per Vedic scriptures we all have our allotted share of wealth based on past Karma.  (This is what I found from the Shrimad Bhagwatam. https://vaniquotes.org/wiki/False_pride_(BG_and_SB) )

Some will choose to agree or disagree, it is their right. ( I agree)

SB 12.3.29, Translation:

When greed, dissatisfaction, false pride, hypocrisy and envy become prominent, along with attraction for selfish activities, such a time is the age of Dvāpara, dominated by the mixed modes of passion and ignorance.
