It might not be appropriate English according to Webster, but the language sometime seems practical for its purpose.

Word for today is - tittivate !!!!

Why you tittivate with the sewing machine.

(like playing with the mechanics)

Tittivate, is used to describe someone that likes to trouble things, or as stated likes to play with things.

MAAR..water drained from cooked rice.

Maar with cooked rice added with onions, pepper and a

pinch of salt does taste good.

Ours was in our logie kitchen area, where the fowls would lay their eggs and we would play as kids.

We called that storage area......Bakar

it was actually a good sized room under our house.

when the rice industry came to an almost halt my mom used to let the newlyweds from the village live in it.  Especially the ones who eloped and had nowhere to live.  they would live in it for about a year or so until they 'catch dem hand' or make up with family and they would move on.
