Wins for Enmore, ECCCC, Paradise SC and LBI CC

The first round of the Enmore Community Centre Cricket Club and D&E Tent Rental 10/10 Cricket competition was completed last weekend with Enmore CCCC defeating Beehive SC, Paradise SC got the better of Starthavon SC and LBI CC winning against Lusignan East. Better Hope CC and Golden Achievers advanced to round two by virtue of a walk-over against Good Hope SC and Fairfield CC respectively.
At the Enmore Community Centre ground, Paradise SC scored 90 batting first with G. Douglas scoring 32. In reply Strathavon SC fell short of their target by seven runs despite Sewchand Budhu scoring 71 (5×4, 7×6). J. Persaud took 2-16 for Paradise SC.
In the second game at this venue, home team Enmore CCCC defeated Beehive SC by 10 wickets and with five overs to spare. Beehive SC batted first and scored 70 for 8 off 10 overs. Rudolph Singh took 4-4 and Christopher Surat 2-16. ECCCC knocked off the target in five overs with Imran Hassan scoring 52 not out.
At Ogle Community Centre Ground, LBI CC defeated Lusignan East by nine wickets. Lusignan were bowled out for 60. Fourteen year-old Mohindra Singh took 4-1off two overs and Yeuraj Khemraj 2-7. LBI CC made light work of their target in eight overs with E. Sharma and E. Khan scoring 25 and 23 respectively. .
The quarterfinals will be played on Sunday at the Enmore Community Centre Ground with Match #1(9:00 AM) –Enterprise A vs LBI CC, Match #2 (11:00 AM) – Better Hope CC vs Ogle CC, Match #3 (1:00 PM) –Golden Achievers vs Paradise SC, Match #4 (3:00PM) – Enmore CCCC vs Lusignan A.
