Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party won a minority government. He promised in his 2015 election victory speech to bring in a system of PR and single handedly killed his commitment. Interestingly though, last night his party garnered 33% of the votes which translated to 157 seats and power. The Conservatives  got close to 35% of the votes but received about 122 of the seats and no power. This basically means that 67% of the voters  did not vote for the partying power. Justin has to work with the New Democratic Party to govern. Minority governments have always been good for this country, because they carry the balance of power.

NDP Good. We are adding more colour to the Liberal party in Canada.

I was out till after 1.00 am helping my MP Gary Anandasangare get re-elected, he is a good friend and does good for the community. Justin days are numbered, SNC, Black Face, refugees, those subjects did not help him. The Conservative Party won the popular votes with 34%,whereas the Liberal Party got 33%. The NDP needs a new leader so as the Conservatives.

What is wrong with the NDP national leader ?

Canada still behaves like a colony of Britain, where immigrants and First Nations are not represented equally like whites.

NDP declare before the polls they are willing to form a coalition government with Liberal, they will NEVER support Conservative ... this hurt Jagmeet a little as he is the most like politician, people saw honesty and integrity in him.
His Turban was also a disadvantage for him.. however,  his charismatic attitude over power some of his opponents.

School teachers  ( White) throw their support for Trudeau, lots of them like Jagmeet, but they acknowledge he can’t win so why waste a vote .. put the X to Trudeau.

Though the first speech ( throne ) can bring Trudeau government down, I don’t see NDP will allow this to happen. They will bargain with Trudeau for some of their legislation to be pass ... and they the NDP have some great proposal, like pharmacare, investments in housing and action on climate change.

Minority is good, keeping  the government on their toes.

Millions of Canadians voted in  40 days of campaign and the results in less than an hour after polls closed. No burning or looting with disenfranchised voters. I saw Negros behaving like human being.

Unfortunately, Different story for Guyana with under a million people.

Justin Trudeau's full victory speech

Watch Justin Trudeau's full English speech as he claims victory in the election. The Liberals will go on to form a minority government.
