What is the agenda of the opposition?PDFPrintE-mail

CAN anyone in Guyana say with confidence what exactly is the agenda of the opposition as it applies to moving the country forward and ensuring that future governance is fair and equitable, in an environment free of fear and better race relations?
Recently, APNU’s Amna Ally said that the opposition has managed to accomplish not only its goals and objectives, but their agenda. So far, this agenda seems to be in questioning or blocking past or future government

projects or actions. Ideally, one would like to see equal, if not more emphasis on new or modifications to existing projects or programmes that would give immediate or future relief or benefits to most Guyanese, especially their supporters. Guyana needs an opposition that not only questions government decisions but attempts to influence them through hard negotiations. This is desired by the majority of voters.

The opposition must be prepared to show how things could be done better through new proposals and constructive engagements with all parties. The real issues are the ones that affect the security of most Guyanese  and their livelihoods and not just benefit a few top politicians or their friends. Is Rohee the real issue, or is it the structure and leadership of the GPF? What happens when the Linden COI fails to find who killed the three people? Will there be plans for diversified development or more protests? Is the opposition actively involved in the outreach 2013 budget talks or waiting to approve or criticise it in Parliament? Just a few of the things many want to know.

N. Agustus is none other than Noel Sookhai, the Internal Auditor at Guyana Rice Development Board under the direction of one Jagnarine Singh, Robert Parasad lacky.

This Young man gets 3 salary  - 1 from GINA, 1 from OP and one from Rice Board.

At OP he is a consultant that structure business deal, at GINA he is a literary consultant and at the Rice Board he is the Internal Auditor.

Take away from the Treasury for all his letter to the Guyana Chronicle.

$350,000 a month in combined income - $4 million a year.  Not bad for a young man peddling the message.

Aunty Doris from Blairmont slaving she ass cleaning trench, paying tax to pay this young man to write nonsense in the Chronicle of Lies against the Majority Opposition.

"Mahen" you seems to be in full propaganda mood, is that a distraction from the failed attempts of the no-confidence motion, and the veiw of a wide cross section of Guyanese bu the second motion would not be entertained by the speaker?

The Guyanese Populace will never support the sinister motives of the joint opposition, in the event of any snap elections, the PPP/C will score a majority in the National Assembly, thus ensuring progress continues...

The PPP/C was a victim of their own success, complacency also played a part in the outcome of the 2011 polls, it was a wake up call, for dormant voters, the democracy and progress Guyana acquire over the pass two decades could have been lost. The Guyanese Populace are more alert and will turn out in their masses and endorse the PPP/C, thus ensuring progress continues

The joint opposition clearly doesn't have an agenda and is hell bent in their quest to make the country ungovernable, the joint opposition would never sit idle by and allow the joint opposition to take the country backward, never again, never again!!!

The PPP/C was a victim of their own success and complacency has a role to play in the outcome of the 2011 polls, it was a wake up call for over 30 000 of its supports, two decades of progress could have been lost, in the event of any snap elections, they will turn out in their masses, early at the places of polls and endorse the PPP/C with a majority, thus ensuring progress continues

Bring it on in 2013, we begging for the new elections.  The AFC ready to take the 5 PPP seats up for grabs and 2 from the PHENC.
