How did the lockdowns etc change or affected your life?

what did you do you that did not do pre-covid?

is there any permanent change to your lifestyle?

β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”-

Before the first lockdown I was walking a lot since I was home, then for some reason I got anxious and did not want to go out, even grocery shopping was scary

I started sewing again, making things for the baby, little blankets (and dresses after she came)

Then in the fall I started to hike in the parks, going to trails in and out of TO
I took early retirement

.... I bake every weekπŸ˜‹

Well first ..and this goes for all...we now fart to cover a cough instead of coughing to cover a fart. Next, I eat lots of chips and junk food because of lots of bonding with the lil grandchiren dem.

Eh-eh Cain ...

You are eating out all the chips and other stuff that are for the kids.

Well, since the COVID started, I am primarily at home and going out only for extremely limited special purposes.

My daughter and son-in-law do all the shopping and other errands for me.

Even though we are all double-vaxed, hubby and I still wear masks to hug and kiss family members......our kids and grand-kids are the only ones we socialize with on a regular basis.

Lots of WhatsApp video calls with my siblings.

Now that my grands are back in-person school and day-care, and too young to get vaxed, we will most likely see them via FaceTime more now......due to fear of the variant

My purse always has masks and hand sanitizer now.

Started early morning grocery shopping in early days of covid and I like it, so that's is one habit I will keep.

I do a lot more home-cooking now, only had 'outside' food twice over the last 20 months.

Heyyy VB, I hope those masks in your purse are brand new. I see many people including President Biden grab hold of their mask by the front as he tells the people to wear masks so they don't spread the virus. These masks should not be handled Willi nilly due to the fact germs could be sitting on them. Take a look at doctors removing theirs, they don't just grab it and rip it off.

I wear mine everytime I'm around others and when it's time to remove it, I take it off from the straps.

Well….I cook more home food because I took early retirement….covid made me decide at 61! I definitely sew more. I made a monthly dress for my granddaughter and many bibs, blankets etc Actually the last few days I’ve been sewing sari blouses and pleating saris.  I never sew so much before. Yes, grocery shopping is very early morning.

This morning I was at no frills and I almost cried watching a grandma put mask on a little guy….it made me think of this world, where we are and how will it evolve for our grandchildrenπŸ€«πŸ™

N.b. My mom got her booster today

I do not take it too serious. I mask. Restrict visiting many places. At work everyday. Had 4 Indian students working here, 2 went to India for holidays, the other two followed a friend and quit. Doan plan to employ anyone else, now down to 3.

Workwise, I take my time.

So, I am kind of directed on a specific path, unknowingly but knowingly.

From history, these pandemics do kill millions of people. And I think in every century there is one. This century I am in one, just have to be sure I do not get taken by it. For divine protection, I shower my Being with Psalm 91.

One thing different these days is the fact that now cannabis is legal it can be smoked at family gatherings , the difference of what's illegal about that now are the family gatherings.

Did I tell you that I was offered prescription for that stuff in its medicinal form? I refused. I get high passing by a smoker I manage without. I try not to take much meds…prefer vitamins and food…lots of foodπŸ˜‹πŸ˜
