It is said that 2020 election is the most important election in Guyana, which is just two years away. The expectations and hopes for a PPP comeback is a priority on everyone's mind. What is the first thing you would like to see from the new PPP administration? (supposedly that they win in 2020).

Related issues are - Who will be president and his vision for Guyana, Resorting democracy, stabilize the economy, and how will they manage the oil economy among other things?

A PPP win should not be who is on top. It's all about what they will do to put Guyana first by decreasing unemployment, set standard wages for poor people to live comfortably, and provide jobs for college graduates.

If APNU is not good for Guyana, PPP will have to do way better to earn its place in government. Isn't it?

Putting a government in office is no longer a wild goose chase anymore. It's as serious as the people's cry of security, cost of living, clean water, sanitation, clean living environment, education, health, jobs, and opportunity. These are some of the things that government are responsible for when running for office. It's not who is on top should get priority treatment, folks.

PPP should not be an Indian status of pride for Indians. PNC should not be an Afro status of pride for Afros. This is what's killing Guyana.

1. Crime reduction. Smaller professional police force, higher entrance requirements and higher pay.

2. Reduced electrical bills, through development of hydro electric power.

3. Constitutional reform. Reduced executive power, greater parliamentary power.

4. Greater focus on youth through small business initiatives. Skills training and micro financing.

5. Constitutional bodies appointed by parliament and reporting to a committee made up of members of all parties ( 2/3 majority vote).

To name a few .........

BGMAN, I am no longer a PPP or PNC supporter for obvious reasons but you have quite a list under your belt of what you would expect from any government that holds power in Guyana. If these things are implemented and becomes law, Guyana will be a hell of a lot better for all. Unfortunately, people who brag and speaks volume of the PPP on daily matters doesn't have anything to offer of their own. They can't live without the PPP and still, they don't know why they want the PPP.

Thanks, bro!
