Satesh Basdeo played an array of enterprising shots in a fluent 68 which was decorated with seven boundaries including three sixes, while David Sears supported with 26 for McGill.
Romel 2-20, Ryan Seecharan 2-25 and Dev Seepersaud 2-30 shared six wickets between them for Bell Vue.
Saieed Persaud 30, Shane Persaud 29 and Ryan Seepersaud 21 offered token resistance for the hosts as Ravin Paramdeo captured 3-15. Sears returned with the ball to take 2-20, while Trevor Lawrie had 2-8 in a winning effort.
The other two matches set for Sunday were both washed out without a ball being bowled.
