Why will I ignore the sight of drunk PPP freeloaders.  None of them do anything anyway aside from jump when Jagdeo orders them to.

That's because they are not capable of individual thinking; typical animal farm mentality.

Myth,

Stop sucking up to Carib. He still sees you as a coolie thrash trying to fit in with his people.

Keffer, I see that behavior with American black females too. It must be an inherited trait. On some documentary shows in other parts of the world, I also see this type of behavior.
Hope Prashad doesn't buss my rass for this observation.

I firmly believe that there are good, bad and indifferent in all people, all ethnicities, all nationalities etc. I will never subscribe to the view that some ethnicities are good, some are bad, etc. To say that the traits, tendencies, behavior or shortcomings of one or a few individuals are indicative of an entire ethnicity is tantamount to bigotry and I most definitely do not believe that !

I agree with you. Here in Toronto we’ve seen a spike in gun violence that involve blacks. A city councillors call for demolition of social housing and the gangsters will scatter like cockroaches.

Citizens are blaming the politicians for giving into every demands by blacks.

Indians ( Guyana ) were getting blame for blacks poverty and poor lifestyle.

The white man is getting blame for blacks poverty also.

- Indians migrated to any part of this world and built a successful family lives , who stop the black people from doing the same.

Businesses contribute financially to the churches in Toronto, majority of blacks get help for rent and food. A family disclose this to me, she’s part of the church board

A few have change their lifestyle, but the majority would take the $ and food and cry discrimination after walking out the church door blaming the government for their poor lifestyle instead of finding a job.

Dave,

the issues with African development are more deep rooted than what you see at the surface.

I found this book "Nxxxro Labor in the United States 1850-1925" A study of American Economic History,by Charles H.Wesley.Ph.D.

Those times were not easy.

Every race has its struggle.

Blacks need to find solutions to better their lives NOT excuses.

The white man enslaved everyone and anyone who they could outsmart and overpower. That enslavement should not be an excuse for future generations to be used to justify being poor and destitute...have pride in yourself and your family.

Django,

you have grow yourself as a successful technician.

Since you claim to live in blacks shoes and know their suffering, what prevents you from training a group back home so their lives can be better.

- you can also Skype and spend some GNI times and help the brothers back home. Tell us what you did Django.

Django, action speaks louder than words.

This is what we have done so far

1. A property that’s around Stabroek mkt, we have allow blacks to sell infront and store their belongs in the compound at night.

2. We have built a well in Africa this is life changing for hundreds.

Portuguese and Chinese arrived in Guyana as indentures.  So why aren't we talking about high suicides and alcoholism and domestic violence.

Rather than thinking that you are better than blacks I suggest that you focus on why Indians have under performed other indentures.

And yes Ravi Dev and many others will tell you that its a lie that Indians in Guyana are better off than blacks.  I cannot speak for what happens in Canada but in NYC Indo and Afro Caribbean immigrants have equivalent levels of economic success, even though it can be argued that as blacks, the latter will face more racism.  If Indos were better off Guyanese would significantly outperform Jamaicans and they do NOT!
