The Vista Mar docks at the Guyana National Shipping Corporation Wharf

Internationally-known cruise liner, the Vista Mar this morning arrived at the Guyana National Shipping Corporation (GNSC) wharf with over 200 passengers and 103 crew members.

Director of the Guyana Tourism Authority Indranauth Haralsingh, members of local media and General Manager of Wilderness Explorers Teri O’Brien was there to welcome the passengers and crew members

Haralsingh while welcoming the captain and his crew to Guyana said that the return of Vista Mar to Guyana for the second time is indeed a good signal for the local tourism industry.

“We are very glad that the vessel has chosen Guyana again…what we would like to see in the future is more longer visits by the vessel to Guyana so that visitors can have the opportunity to see much more of Guyana, than just its capital city,” Haralsingh said.
