Two men killed, several injured during fight at Corentyne Bar

Crime[www.inewsguyana.com] – Two men are dead and several others are nursing injuries after an argument ended with the use of knives and cutlasses on Sunday, December 27.

Police confirmed that at approximately 22:30 hrs, a group of men were imbibing at a bar at Manchester, Corentyne, when an argument arose which turned into a disorderly brawl.

During the incident 28 – year – old Mark Simon of Liverpool, Corentyne and Kempton Gray, 23 years, of Alness, Corentyne received injuries. They were taken to hospital where Simon was pronounced dead on arrival and Gray succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical attention.

Bhiron Robertson, 31 years, of Liverpool; Samuel Fraser, 32 years, of Liverpool; and Gary Tyndall, 32 years, of Courtland, Corentyne, also received injuries.

iNews understands that Robertson and Fraser have been admitted to hospital while Tyndall was treated and sent away. Investigations are in progress.
