I know three things. 1. Overseas travel to Guyana drop drastically. 2. The airport extension halt. 3. There is no recovery program to encourage travelers to visit Guyana. I am asking for expert advice on how this government intend to capitalize on travel and tourism to Guyana. I am not an expert, but we can make G/T into a little Venice to see if it sells.

Apart from tourism, there are other major concerns need to be addressed that is detrimental to Guyana's economy. Job creation, high unemployment rate, foreign investment in Guyana, etc .

I have to give credit to the new administration for progress made in two areas. The increase in crime and high unemployment rate.

I am not picking on Grainger. Guyana is my country too, and I must express my concerns.

Guyana never had any tourism sector to speak of. It had Guyanese returning for family visit and because they had some cash they explored their native land. If some are disillusioned that their kind is not in office that is their business. Real tourism needs more than is there and hopefully some good sense will prevail to truly build one since 23 years of PPP neglect or incapacity to do so has to be overcome.

The hot and cold lake could become another attraction.

The PPP give away the entire area to their cronies. The auction of the assets here developed by burnham was a farce. That sale has been some 20 years now and it has done us no good. It made a few crooks rich.

Shut your rotten sewer mouth. We cannot judge the administrator 60 days into their rule. We have 23 years of the PPP negligence to comment on. But you felt it was as sweet as simitoo since they crooks were kith and kin!
