Good day, brothers and sisters. Our scripture reading today is taken from Chapter 10, Verses 1 & 2 of the Book of Judges in the Old Testament of the Holy Bible:

"10 After the time of Abimelek, a man of Issachar named Tola son of Puah, the son of Dodo, rose to save Israel. He lived in Shamir, in the hill country of Ephraim. He led Israel twenty-three years; then he died, and was buried in Shamir."

BTW, has anyone heard from our dear GNI brother Tola?

Travelling!

I don't believe you. How do you know that Tola is traveling when you didn't know where your own brother was? In the Book of Truth, Genesis 4:8-9, it is reported: "Now Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let’s go out to the field.” While they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him. Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?”

“I don’t know,” he replied. “Am I my brother’s keeper?”

Are you Tola's keeper?

Is what slackness you going on with reading that thing banna, you want mess up your brain or wuh?

As I mentioned some time ago, I read the Bhagavad Gita, the Holy Qur'an and the Holy Bible. Last year I decided to implement a system with a plan to read one chapter of the Bible daily, starting from Chapter 1 of Genesis. To date, I've reached Judges Ch 11 which deals with Samson. As I go along I've discovered lots of interesting things besides incest, intrigues, infidelities, infirmities, homophobia, homicides, fratricides, matricides, patricides, regicides, foul plays and mercy killings. And I still have a far way to go before the birth of baby Jesus.

CORRECTION: That should be Judges Ch 13 where Samson's story starts. Ch 14 deals with Samson's wedding, his wife's betrayal, and Samson passing her on to another man.
