Put your claims in the proper context.  Those who are fortunate to have family abroad who give remittance will invariably become slothful and dependent on US coming from gullible relatives like yourself. But for the most part I have seen Indos involved in all types of businesses, from welding shop, heavy machinery operations, poultry farms etc. Maybe some of the younger ones have strayed and become druggies and thiefman, but this doesn't give you the right to paint with such a broad brush, demonizing the vast majority who continue to strive despite your pnc foot on their neck.

You are a true idiot if you think that every Guyanese who thinks that they can qualify will not try for these jobs.  It doesn't matter what one is doing in GY these jobs pay more.  I bet that there are even some T&T people in the crowd as well.

Learn to read man,  I never stated that indos were being dissuaded from applying for these jobs. The slopster was the one who brought that up.

The last time I went to Guyana was 1998 but one can still know what goes on in Guyana without being there. After all, we do live in the 21st century. I know Indians in Guyana who have more money than God and they didn't get it by having it given to them. Therefore your blanket statement that Indians in Guyana tend to sit back and have things given to them is ridiculous.

Bai, I am generally oblivious to things of that nature. I am pro 'go get your own' attitude which is why I am usually critical of people who do not get up and get. If Indos want to scream that something is racist, that is their problem. If blacks want to dwell on racism, that is their problem. I don't care to lose sleep over them. Tola is just pandering. I see him as pretentious although I can be wrong.
