The job of police is to ensure that the laws of the nation is upheld. Those breaking the law will be punished.  Police who abuse their power and kill citizens extra judicially should be punished and we have seen examples of this under the PPP. If the Agricola people did what they did to police last week in the US many would have been killed, the Guyanese police showed incredible restraint given the taunting and abuse they received from the rioters in Agricola and Linden. In the US many protesters would have been killed and they confronted police with cutlass as we saw in Agricola and Linden.
