Hiring new recruits with skills from the Diaspora and retired educators when Mr.Ramotar assumes office in 2012. It's an excellent opportunity for overseas attraction to work and live in beautiful Guyana once again. Even if you're from a different party, the offer still open for all as long as you're a Guyanese. The PPP will not hold you accountable for supporting another party, since they know they will re-take the office of the president once again. Please don't waste your time and future with second best. Come over to the family party where all races can drink from the blessed cup.

All supporters of the AFC who are genuinely seeking government job after 2011 are welcome. Mr. Ramotar will reverse many of Jagdeo's policies. Working for the govt can be a pleasure without the micro management system. The Cheddi Jagan philosophy will return to the people of Guyana and abroad with Donald Ramotar. Don't settle for second best.

The difference between the PNC and the PPP is;

When the PNC steals, every man steals for himself.
When the PPP steals, every man steals for his parents, children, siblings, relatives, friends, neighbors, pets, and acquaintances.

Quit the crap. Luncheon has already estabnlished that only one race drinks from the blessed cup and it isnt blacks. He only know "one or two" blacks in decision making positions.

It make shock you but AfroGuyanese are capable of doing more things other than taking orders and accepting charity from Indians.

Streetsmart, please stop cursing the white man. Some of our beloved brothers are at their beck and call as we speak and we need them to take good care of them until they release them. I am speaking of our beloved brother and soldier, Roger and our beloved Ed.

We are children of dalits oppressed at the boot of Brahmins for 6000 years and also sons and daughters of slaves so a calabash is a step up. Where most of us came from there was no down on the ladder. We were untouchables! It is not about pedigree which none of us have but a matter of good sense that in this new land appropriated from the amerinds we make do and not become the new Brahmins.

That's not the concept of LT investment where the investment malfunction for a long term. I could understand if the factory was operational but due to acreage was not running at full capacity and hopes to get there in a few years. That is the concept of LT investment planning. There is a major technical impedement, not just tuning and optimization, that is not part of any plan, long or short-term. Do the people just hold their breath and hope the factory does become fully operational? How about the trained personnel, why is it now being realized? Clearly, like the technical problem, there is a major personell issue.

That my friend is a failure, resulting in firings and lawsuits.

I could not have said it any better.

I am very optimistic that the Skeldon factory will be functional to its full capacity in due course. I don't think you can write it off as a total failure. You and I are looking at the half-filled glass from a different perspective.

In my book, a total failure is when something substantially does not live up to expectations given the alternatives at hand. In your view, total failure is if it blows up when you hit the ON button, sorry not the way an investment is evaluated. Your view assigns no accountability. Anything is a success, then so was the PNC as many things worked, abeit limped along.

Skeldon goals and operational profitability will never be achieved.

The reasons are that the entire facility built by the chinese is substandard and poor. The design is flawed in several areas and this has hampered the operations tremendously.

This is a modern day factory that has no sprinkler system to deal with fires or other fire suppression systems. Same with Enmore packaging plant I might add.

So while they look shiny and new on the inside to keep the things running is costing us too much money and as a result it is not sustainable in the long term. The idea behind these investments is that they should be more efficient and allow us to improve productivity that is not the case at skeldon.

As a result no matter what management goes in place even if dem bring bhagwan himself it is not going to become profitable.

Those are the facts!
