Buzz: The Pest
In ice hockey there is an unofficial position known as the pest whose role is to antagonise opposing players verbally and physically using such tactics as trash talking, slashing and hooking in order to to throw them off their game.
That’s Jagdeo. Almost everything he says is baseless fear-mongering: his warning that the US would stop issuing visas if the opposition gets into power, that they would spend all the money in the treasury, they would shut down the sugar industry, that Granger would bring back national service, and then his remark on who killed Crum Ewing: “I couldn’t help but thinking that it sounds like a military thing, he told supporters in Kitty “you will probably be shocked to find out who killed this guy.”
The last is particularly scurrilous and had WPA member David Hinds asking yesterday “Has Crime Chief Mr Leslie James questioned these two gentlemen about the evidence they may have to support their theory of how the activist was killed? If they have not, I demand a public apology from the police.”
