I could begin by pleading, "Oh, please why can't we all get along."

That wouldn't cut the mustard.

This great divide is decades old and many generations are in the grave yards of Guyana without experiencing the words they have uttered from time in life, "Someday Guyana will get good."

Good or the Good Life is elusive unless we "Come Togethr Now."

Why wait.

The rewards are bountiful similar to a great banquet. Food, fine wines and much respect ay the banquet table.

Let us dine on tolerance and goodwill towards one another.

We lived in a society that maintained Euro-centric Attitudes. They were a set of values accepted by the mind as Statutes.

We were also a society that thrived on quiet speech because it was considered the refinement of an individual.

After 1955, those Attitudes manifested into Intolerance and Hate.

Citizens need to rekindle the spirit of respect and re-adopt the ATTITUDES to BE.

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

BLESSSED ARE THE MERCIFUL, for they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS, for they will be called sons of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

There comes a time when learning needs to un-learn, learn and re-learn.

There was a time in British Guiana when opportunities were afforded to young people for being outstanding in appearance and speech.

Well pressed pants with seams that could cut you, a white shirt, long sleeves preferably, a slim tie and a pair well polished black shoe. It was the Sunday dress if a person was a church goer.

A Black village would mentor such youngmen with proverbs to guide their ambitions. Granger, Scotland, Green and Patterson are men from that era.

Have they abandon their mentorship?

Why have all the old ppl knowledge vanished from them?

Who is to be blamed, Forbes or the Peoples Progressive Party for making  decent men such transgressers.

"The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness.

If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness."

Our politicians are devoted to evildoers, the Peoples National Congress and the Peoples Progressive Party. Masses of people are suffering and they devise schemes to despise the  other.

Peter D would have been a saviour.

The extreme of Cheddie Jagan.

He was more concerned about stopping communism he made a deal with the devil, the CIA. Later, forced into bed with Forbes.

Peter D was mainly the architect for the Wismar Massacre and the other skirmishes referred to as the Disturbances. The CIA used him to indoctrinate Forbes into a life of criminal acts against supporters of CBJ.

Had he stuck to making Pepsi-Cola then the British would not have had the upper hand of the DIVIDE. Indians and Blacks would have come up with solutions for their plight, now postponed some 70 years later.

Blame Jagan, Burnham, Granger and Moses Nagamootoo.

Bad idea.

Blame Gilbakka, yuji22, Siggy, Cain etc. That is, blame OURSELVES. For being gullible, for allowing others to lead us by our noses, for not admitting our mistakes after 68 years. We must not scapegoat politicians. We must learn to accept personal responsibility. Instinctively we do not trust labarias; why do we trust politicians? We the people always do so at our own peril.

New Years resolution, "meking black ppl on this BB have an understanding and apprecaition of the Indian as a Guyanes."

Reading their comments, there is definitely misconceptions of the indian countrymen.

Is not just black and Indian ppl in Guyana, or on the BB.

Sorry, but those two groups are inflicting punishment on the entire country. Their political representatives have never implemented any plans to create employment which is badly needed for the country to progress.

Yet, tribal instincts enslave them.

Basically on this BB, those who are of neither race group align their commentaries along black ppl sentiments. Which is like a us and dem syndrome.
