I would give you a big fat zero for this answer if I were your math teacher. You have to show how you get to b = .05. 

That's not the way I would solve this problem anyway.

Bhai,the school bottom house trained saw that,i stayed put,it's a simple formula to give the answer.

Substituting "a" for "b"

a = (110- b)
also
a = (100 + b)

therefore

110 -b = 100 + b

110-100=b+b

10 = 2b

b = 5

a = 110 - 5 = 105

What you gave before is unrelated to your new answer. It doesn't show the steps to solve the problem and would be incomplete on any math test.

Anyway take a read of the report.It's interesting.

You gotta be street smart like the kids in Brazil or Guyana. Dem na know about Algebra and simple equation and dem na gat calculator but can do conversions of money very quickly.
