Looks like APNU+AFC people are provoking a crisis with these sudden arson attempts to give Granger a pretext to declare a state of emergency. Raphael Trotman is already talking about a constitutional crisis if GECOM rejects Lowenfield's false report.

In 1933 Adolf Hitler's followers burned down the German Reichstag and blamed the Jews so that he could massacre them. In 1979 the PNC burned it's own heavily guarded Congress Place headquarters in Camp Street Georgetown and then blamed the WPA. The police immediately arrested Dr Walter Rodney, Dr Rupert Rupnaraine and Dr Omawale. The next year the PNC got a soldier named Gregory Smith to kill Dr Rodney.

I think that Lowenfield was instructed by high PNC officials to deliberately submit falsified elections results to the GECOM Chairman with an aim to create a constitutional crisis. That would give Granger another pretext to declare a state of emergency and quash the 2020 elections altogether. Of course I am merely putting out a conjecture but it's what people call an educated guess.

The year was 1974.  I witnessed it. I was still living Guyana at Camp and New Market street.
