SLED graduates urged to “Be your own boss”

By Alva Solomon

More than 100 young entrepreneurs were on Monday charged to “Be your own boss” as they graduated from the Ministry of Communities “Sustainable Livelihood Entrepreneurial Livelihood (SLED)” initiative. The graduates who hail from different parts of the country are now positioned to develop their respective businesses within their communities. They were part of coaching and training sessions that later provided them with the relevant skills to enter the world of business while being creative.

Every Indian is responsible to embrace a blackman or woman is the real meaning of social cohesion. Indian owe black every ounce of gold they wear. Every Indian men owe them their wives. Your money and business belong to them. So, the time has come for blackman to collect their dues. I believe this is a fair deal for Indians to get on their knees and do the right thing.

Its not that blacks men want the wives of Indo men.  Its that the wives of Indo men like you prefer black men, instead of sniveling little bytches like you who cry if a black women hollers at them too hard.

Your post election behavior will go down in memory with your screams, cries and wails about "powerful PNC women with supercyats  who can do what they want, and nobody cannot tell them anything".  Now which woman wants a man like that?

I see quite a few non blacks in the crowd.  Your rage is that there are blacks in this, when blacks should instead be confined as low paid policemen, security guards, and clerks, eking out a living on $150/month.

Note that when the PPP was asked by their House Slave Juan Edghill about scholarships they refused to indicate the ethnicity of this.  Clearly this is because disproportionate % were Indians, and they didn't want that fact known.

So if Indians were given preference under the PPP then non Indians must now be given a chance.

Was that picture taken in Land of Six Races Guyana or was it taken during a visit to Nigeria ?

When 95% of the state corporations were headed by Indians you said NOTHING.

Why your screams now?

Blacks were given a chance under the PNC for 28 years. They refused to alleviate their situations. It seems that when black people see a blackman in power, they think their lives are going to get better by just doing nothing "abie time now". When the blackman is out of power, they demand they be given handouts to compensate for their lack of foresight. We see this in America too. Just wait until Obama gets out of office and see how many of them will cry discrimination when their public assistance benefits are reduced.

Skelly, you are painting the Africans in Guyana with a broad brush, prior to Burnham rule the Africans were up there and they were progressive similar to Indians, the whole nation suffered under Burnham. We  are aware what caused the division from then on Politicians use the methods of rigging, divide and rule to achieve power, obviously the PPP had an advantage[in free and fair elections] the Indians were a majority at over fifty percent.

Django, that's not the only flaw I see. Right here in America, they scream that businesses do not want to invest in their depressed community. We see what has happened in the past few years. The same businesses that provide jobs for them and their families to survive, they, in a NY minute will NOT HESITATE to strike a match to it. We saw this in Milwaukee WI the other day. They do this to the Indian business in GT and even burn their own in Linden and else where. When are they going to learn that we are in this all together?

Could not the same to be said of indians? Why has guyana remained two thirds in poverty with 29 percent in deep poverty per a recent report by the WB?

Your fluid use of "blackman" as though it is a keystone to some kernel of wisdom speaks to you suffocating reason for prejudice.

More white people are on welfare and that is not limited to the Romney 47 percent but the top one percent who feed on the 99 percent. They cry of the Scots-Irish and their flight to the Trump camp is because they are chronically destitute and see no way out. I wonder if you think it is because of their lack of smarts since they constitute some 60 percent of the population.

Obama specifically avoided black plight during his tenure because he would face more than the stalemate he faced during his entire tenure.

By the way, was it smarts that keep our dalit kinfolks as the butthole of india for 6000 years?

At least the Indians(my kinfolks) are very successful in Guyana and the rest of the world. Can you say the same of your buck people? As a genius who knows everything, can you find an international market for piwari and cassava bread so they can at least be recognized in the world?
You are smart alright. Smart enough to match items on the dollar store shelves.

Pure unadulterated anti black racism.  then  you wonder why you are called a brown bai KKK.

You can now explain why PPP supporters voted for Jagdeo and then ran off to Barbados to walk the streets of Bridgetown selling their bodies.  PPP women were well known as bed warmers for black Bajan men.

In fact it is believed that the Scots Irish are almost as badly off as are many black Americans, and suffer from the same pathologies as do the American black poor.

Yet they didn't undergo Jim Crow and what ever discrimination that they endured was way less than what blacks had to under go.

As to those who scream about the "hard working Indians".  They need to tell us why their fellow Asian indentures, the Chinese, have way outperformed them, and in fact people like Ravi Dev and Prem Misir can offer many statistics to show that Indo Guyanese have parity with Afro Guyanese.  And are in average LESS educated.

Kudos to your kinfolks. My point is still that some 2 thirds of Guyanese are in deep poverty and rural folks are deemed the most poor.

Amerindians are the richest since they own some 12 percent of the land mass.  They are cash poor since they lack the means to utilize it fully. In time they they will accumulate the highest per capita income if they are able to deliver their crops to market. That will come.

And indeed I am smart  but you do not get to determined that. You can't being overwhelmed and confused  in a racist reality. That substantive in your own head. It holds no currency in the real world. It is of the same value as the fiction you repeat about dollar stores etc in hope that can somehow elevate your sense of worth.....that is a waste of time.

It might be true there Stormy. Every time I saw a buckman funeral, I never seen a U Haul carrying 12% of his land behind him. Is it that they mortgaged their 12% to make cassava bread and piwari hoping you might get an international market for their products? They died in disappointment?
