The remnants of the ‘terror gang’ are reportedly snitching on each other.

Police sources said that one detained youth known as ‘Hulk’, yesterday put himself and at least two others at the scene of the attack on Commissioner of Title (Land Court Judge) Nicola Pierre, and her husband, Mohamed Chand.

Kaieteur News was told that ‘Hulk’ claimed that he, along with Warren McKenzie, acted as ‘lookout men’ during the attack, while Rolston Morrison was among the gunmen who entered the victims’ home.

Morrison, called ‘Mappy’ or ‘Saddam’, 29, was shot dead during Tuesday’s confrontation with SWAT team ranks, while McKenzie, 22, was shot in the abdomen. He remains in a critical condition. ‘Hulk’ was among several others who were detained in the gang’s First Street, Craig hideout.

Pierre and Chand were asleep in their Felicity, East Coast Demerara home when several gunmen broke into the premises and attacked them. They were awakened with blows then gun-butted until they lost consciousness.

Mr. Chand suffered severe damage to one of his eyes, forcing doctors to have it removed. He also suffered head injuries that required some 35 stitches.

Kaieteur News also understands that Mrs. Pierre is being treated for a broken jaw and other injuries.

The gunmen had fled with a safe and a suitcase, but were forced to drop the items after coming under heavy gunfire from a security guard.

When one gang is caught, another will take its place to terrorize innocent people. This government should have focus attention on crime aggressively
from the bottom up since crime has been a challenging force to reckon with from the previous administration.

You two stupid rass so goddam miserable, holy rass man, yall want the police to catch the perps even before the crime is commited and even then it's not enough.

Look yeh, since this new Government has been in, they have caught more perps than the last Government in the last ten years even though crime was rampant, so go suck an egg or whatever your poison you both.

Guyana and even with the support of the CARIFTA countries with their "toy military armament" is no match with Venezuela.

Thus far, it is simply talk by CARIFTA group.

However, should a move against Guyana, it will be Great Britain that will come to its side.

US_of_A will also be on the side of Guyana primarily because of the current issues between US_of_A and Venezuela.

Because Venezuela is the infinitely more worthy prize.  Russia backed the UK (Guyana) in the 1899 arbitration agreement and the US sympathized with Venez.  Now they are on the opposite of their own history.  Russia would likely prefer the big prize.  The US wants back the bigger price and Guyana is just a means to that end in today's political landscape.

Cuba is another thing, they where always halfhearted regarding Guyana when Venezuela was in the US camp.  Today Venezuela is a huge plus for Cuba given the oil subsidies.  Cuba does not need rice.  Cuba and Russia may have adopted a more mediator stance under a PPP Guyana.  Russia may still, given their historical position in the 1899 arbitration, provided Guyana does not facilitate Venezuela regime change from Guyana's territory.

This border dispute is nothing more than a political football for the regimes in Guyana and Venezuela. Why the Venezuelans don't start something?  Are they afraid of a protracted war with the resilient Guyanese people?  I don't want to hear about border and oil. Nothing will materialize.  It's all a game to fool people.
