My sources have much to lose if they're wrong. They cannot afford to have gotten this wrong. Their very asses are on the line.

But I do concede the point, I am not conveying a first hand account. It is as conveyed to me by the people literally holding the documents in hand. And they seem to sincerely believe their numbers which project the PPP as the majority winner.

Look chap, this is a forum where everyone here has a personal network. Mine is telling me the PPP won. That's all I'm saying. It is perfectly possible that I'm talking to a regime that is either lying to me or lying to itself if indeed it has lost.

The last election the PPP couldn't believe the results. They had Surjablly nuts in a twist for three days. Then finally. I guess the same thing is happening again.

Your "sources" ****ed up an entire country for 23 years and they cannot even tie their bloody shoe laces so I wouldn't put too much faith in them that they can do anything right much less win an election like this.

Your sources pay 5000 USD per month in telephone bills for Cheddi secretary gale.

Your sources also have an idiot at office of the President called Kwame FcMoron.

Your sources also paid $2100.00 USD for a chinee made toilet bowl to put at CJIA.

NEXT!

Yes, I am informed of a projection based on the actual SOPs which both parties have hard copies of. Both parties already know who won. So does GECOM.

GECOM's job is not to simply declare a winner or loser. They have to follow the process in the most exactingly manner. So if they have to hold up a declaration for the receipt of 3 SOP's on their way by canoe, then guess what? We have to wait for those physical originally signed SOPs even though everyone already has electronic copies of said SOP's and the results as already known.

APNU-AFC is kind of disadvantaged because it appears that they did not have observers at all of the poll sites, especially certain Indian and Amerindian regions which is most likely where the election swung to the PPP.

The PPP to my knowledge is the only party that covers 100% of poll sites so they actually know who won by how much even before GECOM HQ does. And certainly before APNU-AFC.

I think APNU-AFC may genuinely be in possession of incomplete returns and are making a huge assumption about the SOPs they don't have. APNU-AFC may really (falsely of course) believe they've won.

You idiots are actually reading incomplete returns and assuming a lot about the contents of SOPs you have not yet seen but the PPP holds and are somewhere in the food chain of GECOM.

The APNU+AFC results could be incorrect but they claimed to have all SOP's in their possession and made their judgement based on that.

From all indications it is clear that our Campaign theme –It is Time, resonated and Guyanese voted for change.
With all of the votes counted and several copies of the statement of polls in our (APNU+AFC) possession it is clear that APNU+AFC will form the next government of Guyana.

Mars,

What I'm saying simply is that the PPP has 100% of the SOPs in their possession and APNU-AFC does not have 100% of the SOPs and is consequently waiting on GECOM to give them copies of the Indian and Amerindian areas they had no Agent there to represent them and forward to party HQ the SOP as it was posted last night.

I think APNU-AFC is making a huge internal error by assuming national trends based on being in possession of an incomplete picture.

This election was probably our most race-based election ever. With Black areas delivering huge PNC majorities and Indian areas delivering huge PPP majorities. This is an election of lopsided SOPs.

I know what you are saying but that's not what Mark Archer stated and he's an executive with the Coalition responsible for media releases. He said that they counted ALL the votes and they have several copies of the SOP's. What he is saying may not be true but he did say that they have all the numbers.

Please read his statement again. Here's what I heard:

GECOM has counted all the votes. We have a couple SOPs out of 2399 SOPs and our SOPs from certain areas make us feel good.

I don't dispute the above to be true. He never once said APNU-AFC possess the counts and all the SOPs.

FM

Shaitaan, he said that they counted all the votes which means to me that they counted every vote cast. They have several copies of the SOP's as various people are texting images of the SOP's from the polling sites. I could be mistaken but this is what I understood from his post. The Coalition also made an official media release announcing that they have the necessary votes to win. Given that there is a possibility of unrest if they announce that they won and end up losing, I think they must have double checked and triple checked their numbers before making such a bold statement. I haven't seen any official statement from the PPP/C claiming victory. Only hearing it from their supporters. Anyway, nothing that anyone says right now really matters. So we sit and wait on GECOM.
