PRESIDENT RAMOTAR SAYS AGRICOLA PROTEST WAS "WELL PLANNED AND CENTRALLY DIRECTED"

AFC terrorists Hughes and Moses incite violence in Agricola

President Donald Ramotar has condemned Thursday’s protest action in Agricola, describing it as “well planned and centrally directed violence against many innocent people” and blaming it on the political opposition--2 of the chief opposition culprits--Moses Nagamootoo and Nigel Hughes.

“The opposition tried desperately to blame the government for the events. They blamed the events on Dr Luncheon’s remarks. However, it should be noted that their protest started days before and the ultimatum given by AFC’s (Alliance for Change’s) Nigel Hughes and Moses Nagamootoo had run out on Wednesday at midnight. Dr Luncheon’s statement was reported in the press long after,” President Ramotar said.

President Ramotar accused the opposition of descending to an unfortunate level at a time when the Commission of Inquiry into the Linden situation is ongoing.
“They are showing a great disrespect for procedures and for law and order. They are not waiting for the results of the work of the Commission … it is clear that they do not care about the damage their actions are doing to the image of our country,” President Ramotar said.

Let them continue to incite burning, rioting and the beating of Indians. It will serve well to wake up the voters and the AFC will pay at the polls among Indian voters. The Blacks will continue to vote for PNC because it is their tradition. The Indians who wanted to cross the partisan line will be forced back to the PPP.

Young black men are being killed in cold blood.

Has anyone from the government  visited or made a call to the grieving mother or people of Agricola?

Why is Luncheon on behalf of the PPP calling for a rumble?

President Ramotar needs to be more resolute and decisive in dealing with the AFC terrorists. They are causing great harm to innocent Guyanese and are also impeding economic growth in Guyana.

Mits, I am glad you are not running Guyana, cause Indians would have had to move out in droves. The Youths that were killed by Police are MOSTLR CRIMINALS. Your vision of a Society is Anarchy and Violence. I do not want to be part of such a Society.

The PNC police killed them, not Luncheon.

IS THERE A SPLIT BETWEEN PARTNERS IN CRIME APNU & AFC ?

APNU SHUNS AFC'S ANTI-ROHEE MARCH

- holds separate rally at Stabroek Square

Top executives of the A Partnership for National Unity shunned the Alliance For Change-organised demonstration Friday, which the party said was one in a series of marches to force government to sack Home Affairs Minister Clement Rohee.
Apart from the small crowd the march attracted, the APNU, apparently fearing the backlash of the mayhem during Thursday night’s demonstrations in Agricola, was a no-show at the protest. Instead, it held its own rally at Stabroek Square, where it continued to clamour for the removal of Rohee and advocate for justice for the young men killed by police recently.
