I think that horse is already out of the stable. The Coalition has already done more than necessary to disrespect the CCJ. Currently, the Coalition is all alone at sea with no means to find a home or ant other refuge.

Yuh think that bothers them? Not that I support them.

In all this madness, therein lies a solutions to this 70 years impasse. New generations faced with same age old dilemma. There must be a change in attitude. Politicians needs to consider what are the thoughts of those who are not their supporters in the interest of moving the country forward.

Black people have been tasked with choices since they came to the colonies some 300 years ago. Today, they are forcing all so called sane minds to examine the issue at hand. A political party dominated by unethical Guyanese(in their minds) with a past of black tyranny(dey sehing it, loud and clear.)

Simply, if dey suh bold to put crooks to govern then dey have to be stopped.

And dey doing it, with DETERMINED BOLDNESS. Doan fuget dey come from slave stock, they remembers it dat way, the fight is in their SOULS. That is not easy to beat.

Peeping Tom wrote today that there is no ethnic crises. Only an elections crises. He said that David Hinds is infusing ethnicity because he is supporting the Coalition's attempted theft of the elections. If Hinds really cared about inclusive government, he would have brought it up after Granger became President especially since his party was part of Granger's APNU group. Keep in mind that Hinds was actually an APNU candidate for the March 2, 2020 and he didn't see it fit or proper to include inclusive government in the Coalition's manifesto. Harry Gill cited this piece today; The late Malcolm X, a courageous advocate for the rights of Black Americans , once said, “I have more respect for a man who lets me know where he stands, even if he’s wrong, than the one who comes up like an angel and is nothing but a devil.”

Gilly,

You and others who know the history of struggle all too well missed the ball on this one. You believe that the PPP has a moral right to rule Guyana and that they won the election. You believe, like the other PPP supporters here that this will end with the swearing in of Irfaan Ali.  All the signs on the wall point to the fact that Irfaan Ali will never get to be President of Guyana. This coalition (PNC) will gamble, will take the risk of sanctions, and will hold their end, at all cost.

It is about ethnic domination. Always has been in the equation of governance. The PNC recognises that and rather being overlooked, it has adopted the intitiative of forcing Guyanese to seek a new path. Granger does not have an answer but destiny dictates, one has to be formulated.

The PPP has a diehard following and changes in their political structure will not be changed, it suits the purpose of domination. However, the PNC will not allow this to be translated into the populous.

Sometimes ppl see their faults after the fact. Cheddie fired all dem black ppl in 1992.

That was the best thing that ever happened.  Guyana was left in the hands of inept professionals who bankrupted the country.  The Afro_guyanese were so relieved when the PPP took control of the country and brought it out of the wilderness.

Not "believe". The PPP/C won the elections according to the Certificates of Recount. PPP/C got 333.3K votes while APNU+AFC got 217.9K votes. That's a difference of 115.4K votes. The CARICOM scrutineers whom Granger himself had trusted certified the recount results and explicitly stated that GECOM can make a declaration on the basis of those numbers.

Virtually all accredited local and international observers, as well as the governments of the ABC and EU countries and the Commonwealth Secretary-General endorsed the recount results. Only APNU+AFC people are crying "fraud". These are facts.

Brilliant question!

False, or at least distortion of the truth. If "all dem black ppl" were fired in 1992 how come in 2015 Granger inherited an overwhelmingly black public sector, police force and army?

Good thing they weren't all fired or there would have been, no public sector, no police force and no army.

Look story deh! BLM wants to get rid of the Police, next the Army.

The public sector had tons of dunces during Burnham's reign, once you were Black you have a job. Burnham was way ahead of Volda Lawrence, jobs for them own people.

Some things are fixed and never could be changed, police, public sector and army. The diplomatic services, Premanent Secretaries, government heads of department are removable resources, they come and go at the pleasure of a new government.
