According to smart minds in the private sector the closures of the sugar factories have had a serious economic impact on other industries resulting in greater losses than when those factories were functioning and running at loss.   This is something to contemplate when analyzing if the industry is really necessary.

The industry is absolutely necessary.

You can't just throw out a number without defining it and not raising the suspicion that you simply don't know what you are talking about.

Then you keep pressing me to backup my claim. Whether I back it up or not should not elicit any characterization of me personally. Especially since I haven't done that to you then nor since.

I'll repeat my mantra again: Hypocrisy shows its true colors when it's the other party. The country is bankrupt and the treasury is empty.
130 countries backing fraud and only the PNC/KFC and their backers see fraud? Was there a reeducation camp in Guyana and parts of the USA run by the PNC? I am going to use your favorite word: PNC sheeple.

Everything mouthed are propaganda from Freedom House.

DDL is praying for the estates to reopen so they can revamp rum production.

The country is bankrupt. Rambarran who is the owner of the Ocean View Hotel COVID facility is complaining that the coalition never paid him a cent.

Rambarran sat doing nothing for four long months and now suing for rent? He didn't even bother to get a rental agreement from his Coalition friends.  Now he will have to wait until a court case is complete. Serve him right.

DDL needs to get their ass buss.  That company reminds me of a cheap koolie man that eats salt rice, drinks sugar water and hides all his money in his shoes. That company has an international product and could have bought an estate.  But they are so cheap they did not.

Irfan should do this.  Each sugar estate should develop a glass bottle making facility, a cardboard box making facility, and develop its own rum company.  With rum products for export.

The PPP has someone keeping tabs on GNI.  Ali will certainly get your advice.

Blind bats don't see FRAUD. Petition on the way.

Now address the re-opening of Sugar Estates. Who got fooled ?

You seem to be thinking just like Basil Williams who rushed through numerous court challenges and failed each time. I know you want the PPP to fail so you would like them to start re-opening right away. Nope, they planning for success and they are being careful, leaving no room for criticism from the other side. You need money to re-open these estates but the APNU emptied the treasury. Petition on the way you say, you forgot that there is one from 2015 that is still pending. What’s the ETA for this petition?

The heading of thread is re-opening of Sugar Estates.

Start a thread about The election petition,Basil Williams instead of derailing the thread.

Poor excuse about money , the writing on the wall , the Sugar Estates are not profitable.

Re-opening the Sugar estates doesn’t necessarily mean that they will be producing sugar exclusively... got to be creative you know.
