Who are the members of the Wolf Pack. Name them. Weren't Ramjattan, Moses and now Ralph at one time sitting in the Central Committee of the PPP along with the Wolf Pack when all the corruption was going on?  Why did they not stop it in its tracks or were they also slaves to Mataji Janet who blessed BJ with the Presidency? The Blue eyed Bhowji was corrupt to the core - she even corrupted Cheddi.

Remember the saying "show me your company and I'll tell you who you are".

Anyone with a keen eye on Guyana's politics knows that Ralph's weekly column in the newspaper was the first sign of his intention to get intimate with the public and ultimately a contender for the party's presidential candidate. Like Moses, he publicly submitted a letter to the party about his desire to lead the party. He wanted the membership of the party to vote in election to decide who should be the candidate. When this did not happen Ralph stopped writing his weekly column and remained silent throughout the election campaign. With two influential veteran absent from the PPP's election campaign the party suffered at the polls.  Now we are learning that Ralph was harrassed by members of  the party for saying the PPP deviated and did things that tarnished the honorable history and character of the party.

I want to know how Ramotar will handle this  one.

No single person is ever indispensable to any society.  I still think he would have served Guyana better staying inside and try to address the corruption he was critical about.  He WAS one of the cabal for decades.  Leaving and running is like abandoning the shit, which he was part of, to the Guyanese people to clean up.  He must know the reality of trying to effect change from the outside, it ain't going to happen.  The PPP will retain power out of the people's fear of the alternative and will continue to do as they wish.

I have come to a conclusion. Nadira needs to do all she can to remove or clean out all of the present group of people who occupy Freedom House.

The majority of the people in Guyana, still place their hopes in the Peoples Progressive Party. It is important to note, the names of the people that is currently associated with the party doesn't mean very much. When they are

canned and replaced with talented leadership, the support base of the PPP will not abandon the party. Even though Ramjattan suggested they should go over to AFC.

For the sixty odd years, generations have given the PPP their confidence only to be disillusioned by its leadership,

Suh, de people ain't going away from the PPP.

For only that reason, Nadira should consider their allegance and clean the party up. And quickly.

Her parents failed their pledge to the people and made it worse by excluding patriotic Guyanese from the party with opportunist with lack lustre leadership.

She must act in the interests of the common people.

It is unbelievable that this parliament refuses to work with the oppostion and give Guynaese a lean government. Instead they campaigning. That much disrespect they have for the voice of the people.

In every progressive country where the people gives their message in a minority government the parliament works. Only Guyana finds it difficult to work.

WHY?

As  it  is with  pain and  trauma, our  threshold and  tolerance level  for corruption and other  malfeasance  may differ from  person to  person. Additionally, there   are other  factors that  may  influence   one's decision to  take  certain  course  of  action  in  dealing / coping with issues  that   presents an ethical /  moral  delima. Some  may  chose  to  throw  down  the  gauntlet and  let  the  chips  fall  where  it  may, while  other  may choose  the diplomatic / soft  touch  approach to  affect  change  from  within, and avoid 'bringing  down  the house' in  the  process.  In  this instance ,  neither  the   brashness of  Ramjattan nor  the  procrastination   of  Moses  &  Ralph were  effective because  they  were overwhelmingly   out  flanked  and  out  maneuvered by  the new  'Wolf  Pack'

Although  I  can understand and appreciate their reticence in not  acting  earlier.  I  believe  it  is  better  late than  never. Hopefully those still imbued  with  any  modicum of  decency and conscience, would gather  the  courage  to speak  up  and  speak  out. The  future of  your  party  and  the  nation  is  at  stake.

WHY?

"Pa Say Ma Say BA "  How  short  a  memory we  have! Dynastic leadership  is  not  the  answer for  the  PPP  as  a  political  organization and  most  certainly,   it is  not  the   type of  governance  we  need in  Guyana.  Had  those  in the  leadership of  the party   in  1997 (  including   Prak,  Moses &  Ralphie) been  courageous  enough to stand  up and  be  counted,  I  seriously  doubt  that  the  party would  have descended  to the  depth  it  has sunken  to.

Having  said  that,  I  do believe  that a  thorough house  cleaning  is long  over due.  No  effort  should be  spared  to unite   the  conscientious and  progressive forces  within  and  without the  party in  routing  the  corrupt  cabal  currently  ensconced  in  the   leadership  the  party.  Failing  that,  then take  the  wrecking  ball  and  flatten  the whole  darn edifice and  watch  the  rats  scamper  in  all directions.

Interesting plan for the AFC, PNCR and PPP/C.

Naah!  Just  Freedom  House  for  now! AFC is  relatively  new and  free  of  vermin and  Congress  Place is not  worth  the  munition.  Why  waste  good  ordinance  on sick & emaciated  mongrel when  the  fleas  &  ticks  can  finish  the  job?

Kidmost called me an ediot yesterday but I still say fellows we have to put aside our differences and work together to build a new party.  PPP Jagan party with either Nadira, Clive or Barbara or another moderate Jagan heading it.  That is the only way we can move forward.

Gail is busy corrupting his young mind. She is unworthy of the position she currently holds. Wasn`t she the alleged corruptor`s  advisor on Governance.

The people have experienced the alternative for 28 years -- 1964 to 1992.

PPP/C, with problems like other groups, is still the best of the three major political parties.

The PPP and Chedii Jagan is a curse on Guyana1!!!
