Ramjattan says APNU is the PNC and Granger says the AFC lacks vision and will loose elections badly

Uploaded by Newguymedia on Jun 28, 2011

AFC and the PNC/APNU are at each other again.

This time the AFC's Presidential candidate Khemraj Ramjattan in an interview says that APNU is actually the PNC in disguise.

In response PNC/APNU's Presidential candidate, David Granger says Ramjattan lacks vision, the AFC is afraid of APNU and it will do badly at the upcoming elections.

Granger's rant is what Martin Heidegger called "a blindness to the historical moment" He fails to grasp what is and address it ie a totalitarian oligarchy on the back of race and under the guise of democratic process, so he cannot belong to what will be. The AFC is not about shoring up the fragile structures of our political system. It is about revolutionary change to remake it better.

Actually no because you all cant even get people to attend your meetings.

Race and habit will guarantee some votes for the PPP and PNC. The Afc can rely on neither so your empty meetings ought to really disturb you.

I am still waiting for an explanation for why your meetings in PNC strongholds are so poorly attended. Wailing that people are afraid doesnt work. When people had more reason to fear PNC thuggery in 2006 they attended AFC events. Now they dont.

WHY? And be honest with yourself.

Caribj bro, I will stick to the decision I made about getting into this type of debate with you. I will advise you however that you need to visit Guyana and rub shoulders with ordinary folks of all, races both in town and rurally, to get a real feel about shifting sentiments and political dynamic. Your orientation is dated, just like D_G and a few others who cling to old perspectives. The elections results will shock you!

WHY DO PEOPLE IN REGION 4 REFUSE TO ATTEND YOUR MEETINGS????? A simple response is all that is needed.

squingy we have been asking folks like you to prove that people go to your meetings. This is not for my benefit. IT IS FOR YOURS. Others have shown quite graphically empty meetings in PNC strongholds from where most of your votes will come. Others have spoken about the AFC making lots of noise but not attracting interest. This coming from people who describe the APNU as a group of PNC people who are too lazy to go out and campaign and Granger as a man best suited tos end people to sleep. And these are NOT PPP supporters but folks who lament the fact that the PPP is weaker than it ha severe been but is bound to win becaue of the ineptness of the opposition parties.

If people think that you all are a bunch of nice well meaning souls who cant win elections you will be treated like the other nice meaning souls who also cant.

You are aware of the WPA who displayed similr levels of assurance (arrogance) about their support. Like you they felt that teh disastrous performance of the two major parties and Guyanese supposed yearning to get past racial politics would have assured them victory.

Well you know what happened in 1992. The very discredited PNC stomped the WPA in to the ground from which they have never recovered.
So until you all get smart and understand that you have to manage perceptions then others will manage these perceptions for you.

On the 22nd of Sept, 2011 I warned you as I did many times before.

Remember when I remind you again the day after the election results come out.

Think and ask yourself WHY NO ONE outside of teh AFC publicly states a belief that you all will win, or even replace the PNC.

squingy, please don't let caribj get to you. He means well. But on certain issues you will get nowhere. I will re-engage caribj when I have the pictures.

We could not run into Reg 4 wild at the beginning of our campaign. We have to prove that we have Indian support this time around, otherwise they will tell us we are there to split the black vote. Now that we have this support we can begin our Reg 4 campaign in earnest.

caribj, will most likely have a negative response to this, which I will not respond to.

Well ask the ROARites what happened in 2001 when they thought they had gotten the Indian region 6 vote.

The AFC not only had to prove itself with teh Indian vote but also with the black GRASSROOTS vote. They call you the potagee/red man party. They did not like Holder.

You might not wish to respond to me but I hear what politically interested people who LIVE IN GUYANA say. Feel free to ignore them and then regret this when you get a beating in November.

If the Region 4 dont come to your meetings they will NOT VOTE for you.

By the way MORE Indians live in Region 4 than in region 6. So when you ignored region 4 you forgot about 40% of the voters.

Just think that its only my maneuvers.

Do you all think that you own the voters in Region 4 AFRICAN, INDIAN, MIXED and others so that you xcan ignore them and then expect tehir votes.

Well they certainly showed you. They IGNORE YOUR meetings.

When you get a packed house in a PNC stronghold get back to me. These votes are very easy to get as this whole APNU things they consider nonsense. The fact that you go to these areas and less than 50 people stay for the entire meeting ought to worry you.

But you think you own them so why worry.

Continue to ignore this vote and then prepare for a beating when polling stations in Gtwn are EMPTY.

Ramjattan and Granger can then cry on each others shoulders while albert screams victory.
