BUSHWICK -

A family is rallying a month after a retired and disabled MTA worker was found stabbed to death in his own home.

Police are still looking for the suspect who is responsible for killing 46-year-old Otis James. They say he was found with multiple stab wounds inside his home on Central Avenue in April.

Family and friends are now demanding detectives work harder to solve the case. James' sisters say they haven't heard anything from detectives despite police releasing surveillance video  of the suspect they believed to be linked to the murder.

James worked for the MTA for several years but his sisters say he retired after he was shot in Guyana and left paralyzed.

The family hopes the rally will push detectives to work harder to bring justice to the person who murdered James.
