Radical Hindus to Christians in India: Convert or 'Get Ready to Die'

Sadly, we are all used to hearing about the plight of Christians in the Middle East, particularly with the rise of ISIS. But the Christian minority in India is facing persecution of its own since Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his ruling party won the election last year.

Now, one group is trying to get the U.S. government to designate the party responsible as a foreign terrorist organization.

CNS News reports:

Radical Hindu nationalists closely aligned to the Indian government warned Christians in Punjab state late last year to prepare to convert to Hinduism “or get ready to die,” according to a complaint before a U.S. federal court.
A lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York calls on the U.S. government to designate as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO) a radical Hindu organization with close ties to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his ruling party.

Late last week attorneys filed an amended complaint in a case brought by an advocacy group called Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) against Secretary of State John Kerry.

This is ridiculous. So is the contemplated lawsuit. India is a secular country. Muslims have invaded India and converted them, while Britain and Portugal, among others have done the same and have converted poor unsuspected Hindus for years. Hindus have finally woken up and are taking actions to prevent further prosletization.

You need to be released from your ignorance that Christianity is a white man's. Christianity arrived in India BEFORE the Muslim religion. Christianity was established in India BEFORE it was in Western Europe.

People have a right to select which ever belief system that they chose. This includes being an atheist. Those who kill Christians are savages.

What would you do if all Hindus in the UK were forced to become Anglicans?

Or for that matter Muslims and Hindus in Guyana were forced to become Christians? After all Guyana is now a heavily Christian country at approaching 65%.

The bullshit of the RSS that there is a primordial Hinduism that is pure that we can all reflect back on and glean wisdom is pure crap. Hinduism is and always was an umbrella term. It meant Sapta Sindu ( the consonant "s" drifted to "H" ) meaning peoples of the seven rivers not people of a religion.

Hinduism reflects on Sāmkhyaism as a premordial form that budded off into a hundred offsprings from atheistic jains and bhuddists to sihk and the two main branches of belief systems we call Hinduism.

The RSS and others of the Hindutva crowd seeking orthodoxy are no different from the revivalist schools in Islam seeking to create what does not and never existed...a pure state of eternal agreement of men as to what is the religion.
