Questions on the reversal of a sworn in president and opposition leader?

Since Dr. Jagdeo has sworn in as opposition leader of the PPP, and the appeals court reverse the chief justice ruling as unconstitutional, what effect would that take on Jagdeo's position?

1. Should he step down immediately?

2. Can he continue to be opposition leader, but cannot run for a third term?

3. Others?

In the case with Grainger, since the PPP petition the court to intervene in the recount of a closely won election, if reversed by the court that a recount must be done and shows that the PPP won, will Grainger step down immediately?

Jagdeo will continue to be opposition leader, regardless of what the court decides. Even if he cannot run for a third term he will continue in that post. One option is to groom another leader down the road within the PPP and act as an advisor to that person.

The PPP winning the petition is a long shot. Think of the crisis this would create. No judge will want to precipitate such a crisis. My guess is that the court may find that there were irregularities, but not enough to reverse the outcome. In addition, keep this in mind: The coalition is in control. This means they have access to the election materials or will make sure they have possession of the evidence to ensure that the outcome is not in the PPP's interest.
