Since AFC has coalesced with APNU, we all made calculated predictions of the death of the party's existance at some point in time. As time progresses, it becomes clearer to be more accurate in our projection to claim victory when the AFC is not yet pronounced dead. In reality, the AFC is still alive. Let's not jump the gun.
It will take three to five years before we can actually know if the AFC is completely dead, or may be given a second chance of life.
AFC is a wild card in politics today. They can jump either side if they feel threatened by APNU. Politics make strange bed fellows. This is something we must keep in mind.
The foreign powers have always wanted Guyana to have an inclusive government of what APNU has demonstrated. They don't care about fairness or unilaterall decisions. What is acceptable is the magicwand for APNU. If the PPP is not prepared to do what APNU have done, they may be buried before the AFC.
The questions are who the PPP will coalesced with? How can the PPP convince the international community that they are an inclusive party of all the people?
Last, but not least. How the wild card AFC can change the balance of power in a crucial time in Guyana politics? Let's keep this thought open even if it means impossible today. The future holds something that may caught us off guard tomorrow.
In closing, as much as we would like to believe that the foreign powers are siding with APNU, it doesn't mean that they're not taking note of what's happening.
