Prashad, do your research, Tulsi has no Indian heritage. Father is Samoan and mother European, perhaps a hari krishna convert, so the tie back to Hinduism.
The woman was a born Hindu. Her mother was a Hindu before she was born. That is good enough for me. Indian heritage or race has nothing to do with Hinduism. Some people from Nagaland, Sikkim, Assam and Nepal look like complete Chinese yet they are Hindus.
