Their plan is to rebuild the economy.  They will create 50,000 jobs, rebuild the infrastructure, and secure oil and gas benefits  for all Guyanese.

How many jobs did they created last time, while importing Chinese workers for the Marriott ? Which government will import workers when  there is high unemployment in Guyana ? Unless there is personal profit.

If these folks think that they will go with the China Chinaman. Then I see it ending badly.

The Chinese are well known for bribing their way into loans for a project. But when the loan is defaulted, they own the project. There are many horror stories in developing countries, yet Jagdeo and his gang encourage Chinese development in Guyana. Including destroying the forest.

We have a new sheriff in town. He will fulfill his promises to the Guyanese people.

How come Guyanese are dressing better than the desperados? Where are all the big houses came from?

You should check their connection with the political elite, while the ordinary voters still use flooded outhouses.

Chinese are lending money to most countries.  Even Lennar Homes in the US took a massive loan from the Chinese.

Under the government of the PPP the lives of the Guyanese people were improved significantly.  More jobs and better pay. Guyana became a middle income nation.

Is this something you read about on a political website, or where did  you experience it in Guyana ?

I am not a foreigner who is oblivious to what's really happening in Guyana and have to rely exclusively on what's written online or in publications for information.  I visit Guyana frequently and always ask folks, especially PPP supporters about how they're doing personally.  I do get good information that I can form my opinion from.  I don't buy everything I read in any Guyanese newspapers.

Do you live here for long periods to fully understand what the people are experiencing in their daily life ? Visiting for periods, reading and sometimes talking to others does not come close to understanding the continued struggles of the ordinary Guyanese family.

The PPP will invest heavily on Manufacturing, tourism, and business development. There will be access to loans provided by the PPP at the local banks. Agriculture, Education, and Health will play an important role in the redevelopment plans for the country. More jobs will be created in addition to the 50,000 the President promised in the Public sector.

Eat your heart out, you cynics.
