I don't think that Ramjattan is a dunce but he was no match for Ram during that exchange. Maybe he was not properly prepared or maybe the need to be deceitful caused him to seem unprepared. So yes, he has not been fully forthcoming since joining the PNC.

I think Ramjattan was cognizant of the instructions that Harmon and Norton gave to him before he went on the show.

I would say that backing the AFC is the only blemish on Gilly's impeccable political record. 

Well, not necessarily backing the AFC but doing so as they morphed into the PNC in 2015. 

I forgive him but had to remind posters to be careful because even smart folks can be conned by politicians like Ramjattan. 

He responded to Gil prior to the election but completely forgot who Gil was after becoming a Minister.

Ram reminded him that he was being controlled by someone else. 

This was another missed opportunity for the AFC to redeem themselves by asking the PNC to hold elections but Ramjattan and Moses chose to sell their souls to the devil.

I too liked the role the AFC played back then in keeping the two major parties in check but I quickly sounded the alarm that the AFC was squandering their political goodwill when they signed that valentine day love letter with the wicked PNC. Now they find themselves burning like their cohorts, the PNC.
