With some moves being made to allow for the holding of General and Regional Elections – constitutionally due since March 21, 2019 – Opposition Leader, Bharrat Jagdeo, disclosed that the People’s Progressive Party/ Civic (PPP/C) elections campaign will start aggressively.

“We want people to see and understand how people, how all Guyanese, will benefit from our plans,” he said.

He noted that the policies and plans of the PPP/C for Guyana and the Guyanese people are currently being rolled out and work is being done in phases, ahead of the official launch of the PPP/C manifesto, to familiarize Guyanese with the Party’s plans for the future after it takes office.

He explained that the first phase of action relates to the circulation of posters containing some of the policies the Party plans to institute immediately upon taking office. The second phase, according to him, will be a more popular version of the manifesto.

With the first phase of the manifesto rollout already on the way, Jagdeo said the popular version of the document will soon be released. The final version will be a detailed technical document – this will be launched closer to elections and will give people more insight into the PPP/C vision for the future of the country and its people.

“We have a clear plan… this is our plan for all Guyana, for all our people,” Jagdeo declared.

Yes....can we see how Irfaan defends his credentials, education and fraud charges?

How about a live political debate between Granger and Irfaan...

Dah would take long, Irfart would stop three times for lunches and a couple snack breaks.

I agree that Irfaan looks like he eats way too much. But Granger will never debate Irfaan because Granger lies too much. Irfaan seems fearless and doesn't get intimidated. Granger is also very boring.
