Please note the sequence of events that have taken place and draw your own inferences

1. Ogunseye/ACDA's reading of the riot act

2. Granger's meeting with ex-GDF personnel and charging them to be vigilant on election day

3. GPSU which is an extension of the PNC/APNU applying successfully for election day observer status

4.Demerara Waves on Saturday reported that Executive member of the PNC/APNU Dr. George Norton lashed out at observers for the 2011 general and regional elections questioning their ability to ensure that the November 28 polls are free and fair.
Norton charged, that the foreign missions cannot come to Guyana and judge whether the elections were free and fair.
He said "these observer missions are farce and don't let us take them seriously,”.

Since the PNC/APNU can no longer use the credibility of the voters list as an excuse as well as Sharma's suspension then rigged elections is the only excuse left for the Opposition.
Note they have already commenced questioning the ability of the overseas observers to monitor the fairness of the elections, then GPSU an arm of the PNC as an observer will basically sing to the tune of the opposition in discrediting the results. Add the Rawanda like behaviour of the opposition media in playing up these rig charges and you have a perfect setting for post election violence.

The opposition would make a grave mistake if they start violence.
Dis time we have the disciplined services plus Bynoe plus Hamilton plus Kwame and their henchmen. And the water cannon, of course. Big Grin

I heard that Khawme was practising for this eventuality....it was reported that he gunbutted someone recently....or perhaps his face might just scare the rioters away..... Big Grin

Kit and kin is being used as a tool. Didn't you hear Ogunseye's statement to that effect?

Kwame already started the violence. I am just disappointed that someone hasn't beaten the crap out of him yet!

I hope Bookman is not planning to use colored water in that water canon. Because it would be something else for them guys to explain to their bosses (the next morning) how they became pink over night. Particularly, if the boss was appointed by Jagdeo.

I think you folks are daft. The history of societies as ours is inevitably about violence at elections time.

We are a divided society. Contrary to every claim by the PPP and others the idea of power for the peoples sake is a farce. It is about as capturing the state so politicians and their kit and kin can enrich themselves. We have to change that dynamics or we will repeat the cycle endlessly

Why don't you take up that mantle?

I don't have a problem with that! I am sure I will have to join a long line after November 28.
After so many accusations of wrong doing, how much longer before some decisive action is taken against this individual? Its seems as though Guyana has become an animal farm where some are more equal than others.

The inaction of the police to charge this individual is a recipe for chaos since one day something regrettable will happen

They know the PPP plans to rig if your votes come in too low. Too bad that you will not be allowed to get away with it.

Dont rig.

Also dont think that the Burnham thugs that the PPP hired dont have a price. Why are you all so convinced that black people sre so stupid that they will collaborate with an Indo dictatorship without demanding payment in return?

The PPP can't rig the elections even if they want to.
GECOM is in full control. The PNC/AFC are watching them like hawks.

That's a big 'IF'. The polls showed that the PPP will get 48% of the votes. 19% are undecided. That means the PPP will get 48% of the undecided votes. Go do the math. The polls are correct 19 times out of 20.

The PPP/C will not lose.

Navin and Komal should grow a pair and Odeen should stop the touring and for once be a politician. They fellas have no pride.

With regards to mayhem at election this is expected during election time and is the norm in Guyana. If the PPP win it will last a few days and then died down. But who knows the PPP is fighting for the majority so nothing is a given.

Basil Williams was recently seen recruiting some of his criminal clients that he has manged to defend in court. Many of them are known criminals and they owe Basil for getting them off.

In the old days they used to beat up PPP people putting up posters; now they have respect! Big Grin

First, it was the excitement and vicarious identification with Jagdeo's tiefman acumen.

Now, you're practically orgasmic at Kwame's 'manly' antics.

Some serious issues revealed here bai . . . check yourself

Jagdeo is rallying the police on his side. Reminding them how their families all died from the hands of the freedom fighters.
He said that COM Felix let the freedom fights run wild in the country. How can they now support a man like felix.

The crowds are getting bigger and bigger, Whilst the AFC's gatherings are getting smaller and smaller, Even TUF's crowd's are biggher than the AFC's. .
The PPP will win again with a large majority.

The court did not reveal who built Felix's home or who he was receiving a princely sum of $3 Million monthly, simply because RK was working for the US and this was manifested when he aided the US Govt. in rescuing one of their diplomats.
