The Minister of State, Joseph Harmon this afternoon announced that Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo recently underwent a routine medical examination in Guyana which revealed that he has some cardiac issues.

Minister Harmon said that Prime Minister Nagamootoo was advised to seek further medical intervention and brought forward a planned private visit to the United States.

As a result of further examinations, the PM will undergo by-pass heart surgery tomorrow, Tuesday February 13^th at a medical institution in the United States and is expected to recover fully in the coming weeks.

He is accompanied on his travel by Mrs. Sita Nagamootoo.

Regarding the betrayal part, just compare the election promises against the post elections reality and you will find all the proof of that betrayal. Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo is expected to undergo heart bypass surgery today at a medical institution in the United States (US) and will not attend a crucial National Executive Committee meeting of the Alliance For Change (AFC) to plan for the Cummingsburg Accord review.
Kaieteur News understands that the Prime Minister departed Guyana on Saturday, February 3rd for the U.S.
According to Minister of State, Joseph Harmon, the Prime Minister was advised by local doctors to seek further intervention following a routine medical examination in Guyana which revealed that he has ‘some cardiac issues’.
Harmon stated that due to the recommendation from the local medial team, Nagamootoo brought forward a planned, private visit to the US.
Nagamootoo, according to Harmon, is expected to recover fully in the coming weeks. He is accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Sita Nagamootoo. Details about the medial facility are being kept private at this time.

Nagamootoo is described as the ‘elder statesman’ of the AFC. He assisted in crafting the Cummingsburg Accord which was signed on February 14, 2015 between the AFC and A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) that catapulted the coalition into Government.
AFC sources have confirmed that Nagamootoo is not gravely ill and has been in good spirits while communicating with the party’s leadership.
No date has been set for the Cummingsburg review between the AFC and APNU. In Nagamootoo’s absence, the AFC executives will go ahead with their meeting on Saturday, February 17.
Last Sunday, AFC Leader Raphael Trotman told Kaieteur News that the party is encouraged by President David Granger’s words that ‘we are better together’.
“Our opinions within the AFC’s leadership are that the Accord provided the best platform for a truly multilateral grouping at the time when it was signed. Both sides recognize that coalitions require special care and attention if they are to remain cohesive and effective,” Trotman stated.

just get a good skillet with a firm handle...add a few teaspoons of oil with high flashpoint heat it up add some unground gera...and a few cloves of garlic and begin browning it. Just before it gets to that point where garlic chars...dump the whole lot in the dhal, cover and wait a few. Stinks up the place but imparts a subtle enhancement to the dhal that most people could not do without.

Django bai, nowadays, I have no desire to care what anyone thinks or says about be. When I was a few years younger, I used to get on bad but nothing matters anymore. I am focused on watching my two kids grow up and claim their piece of the world. You can call me anything now. It is like water rolling off duck back. I kinda like my new attitude as it is less stressful.
