The diaspora will join in solidarity with 10,000 sugar workers that are affected by the closure of sugar estates, among other things as stated on the flyer. They want to send a strong and clear message to APNU/AFC.

I humbly ask all concern Guyanese to go out and support a good cause. I will be there.

Thank you,

Cobra.

When thousands of Lindeners lost their jobs did you picket?

Naah.  Too busy screaming "black man lazy", and that they deserved to lose their jobs.  Interesting that what goes around usually comes around. I have a feeling that if you all showed more empathy to the bauxite workers it would have been easier for you now.

Look at the "MASSIVE " crowd.

Even the diaspora realize that the sugar industry in its present form cannot be saved.

Profitable companies doan close down. LINDENERS lost favour. Dem should have NEVER killed the Indians that WERE living among them.

The PNC destroyed sugar years ago, it is interesting that they got around in time, dealing the laat blow on their watch.

The ones i disliked are the Racist who can't be reformed.

Guyana with a multi ethnic society, needs every citizen to respect each other or good will never come, people can change if they are told that hate is not healthy to co-exist.

Good for you,

You may call it bashing,I don't have to condone Racism from any ethnicity, was brought up that way and consider it distasteful,I am living in first world country for the past 20+ yrs and have interacted with thousands of people of all races, one time an individual tried his ghetto language called me a "sand monkey" i stood up to him and nearly duke it out, that's me don't take crap from anyone regardless what is your position.

None of my children, whom have grown up here from a young age have experienced Racism, they all attended schools where whites are predominant, they see everyone as equal, one of the reasons i love New England, everyone are very respectful except for a few from the ghettos.

I have seen a few folks here used their rights of "Freedom of Speech" using derogatory language towards other ethnicity.

It should be shame on them.

KP, this is a public forum, Django is speaking out against what he believes is wrong. Why do you have to mention he should be ashamed to bash his race in public? Because he is East Indian decent he should agree with everything an East Indian does even though he sees it as wrong?

Dude, it is those East Indians like django and others here who speak out against the PPP that makes me not being racial against East Indians. If they all stood with each other just because of their colour I would be cussin every friken one of you here.
