Trump only agreed to meet Jong Un because he heard that Jong Un is a dictator. 

Call him what you want, he is doing exactly what he said he will do even prior to entering the race.  He sees things very differently from a traditional politician.  They get caught up in process and accept information that came though a very long Chinese Whisper filter.  He short circuit the process and meet the person, then do the necessary work. 

This is a very businessman approach to getting things done.  It may or may not always work out, but he has proven, if the details don't work, he simply pulls the plug.  This guy is transactional, he will haggle and give and take, but prepared to walk away.

He dangles the carrot and knows what he wants.  This is what he did earlier, then pulled the plug and had Jung Un running helter-skelter to get it back on track.  Jung Un knows Trump will do it again at the first hint of cheating.

I believe Jung Un wants to change his country and mend fences with South Korea with unification in mind.  I also believe his relations with China will cool off and a Trump Tower will dominate Pyongyang's skyline.
