Condolences and sympathy to the Persaud family.

May paratma give him mukti.

I first met pandit ji in 1970s on, WCD at CI-as speaker on Dharma, his eloquence in sincerity of purpose have since impressed me.

Later I met regularly with him regularly as a student, in the struggle for democracy.

Guyana has not only lost a great son but also the PPP has also lost a wonderful member.

He has had full life, in service to all people, his country and the ideology of service through the mechanism of his Party.

He continued his ‘public service’ as member of the government and minister.

May God bless his soul.
