Lets assume the PPP called a vote of no confidence. Some defections takes place on the PNC side to allow the PPP to pull this off. A new election is called.

  1. How many of you believe that, given the stakes, and the PNC’s history, that the PNC will allow a free and fair election to take place, and run the risk of losing power?
  2. If elections are rigged, what options are available to the PPP, aside from appealing to the ABC countries on bended knees?
  3. Are PPP supporters willing to take to the street as PNC supporters have done in the past?

Replies sorted oldest to newest

There is nothing to assume, the no confidence motion already handed to the speaker of the house. APNU Chairman declared "no one for sale". AFC not selling out either.Let's wait and see what will happen on Monday Parliamentary sittings.

Stay tuned.

The PNC and their supporters do not intend to hand power back willingly to the PPP, not 2020.  On the other hand we still need to see the PPP ticket.

If the PNC blatantly rig, then they must have had a hoodwink from the USA as it will involve the military.

Short of protesting, the PPP have less economic clout than in the past. Sugar has been gutted. PPP supporters will not take to the streets and bun down or shutdown GT.  It ain’t guh happen.

i believe you will see a lot of disruptive legal challenges but as soon as oil money begins to flow, PNC will pacify the people.

Whatever it is, it will be close if free and fair so the PNC don’t have to do major rigging to win. Im sure they already looking at opportunities!

And Vish, don’t bother with cow 🐄 batty Brahmawattie, he is the fuss guh run fuh di bushes, pull up he dhoti and tek one fearsome shit!!🤣.

Volda is PNC Chairman, not APNU Chairman. She said no one for sale.

I would be surprised if BJ did not already test some resolve. Let’s see how it plays out.  I don’t think he is that spurious!  He thought through this!

PNCR is NOT APNU, but PNC is the main component!  However, without the other parties and AFC, they would still be cussing from the back bench!

Naah. It's a knee jerk reaction. He sees a chance to topple the ruling party since Granger is sick. The speaker have the power to shut it down or if it is allowed, the Speaker have the right to cast the tie breaker vote.

But isn't he 1,000,000 times smarter than mere mortals?  Why would he make such a bold shot to get caught in the slips?

Two small parties JPAP and WPA have some clout and MP's. So BJ luring one of the two ? looks like rain will will wash out the softball match, no runs to be scored.
