APNU is trying to create a false narrative that it is winning the election when it isn't to force a crisis situation and put pressure on the Government and GECOM by inciting the Georgetown mobs.

Very accurate.

If the PPP is ahead  by one percent (that looks like around 3000 votes), and region 4 and 10 is not completely in  then they lost. It is simple as that. They win only if 99% of the votes are in. They always lose by huge margins in these regions.

rumors do not have accuracy, they have a credibility gap and this one is huge.

APNU-AFC's goons are privy to the same info from their appointees at the Elections Commission.

So I post it freely here for them to challenge it.

Folks the position announced by Mr. Granger today is based on solid numbers. I can assure you that had Mr. Granger and Mr. Nagamootoo not have absolute confidence in the numbers they would not have announced.

I have seen the numbers as well.

We have received and tallied 2025 SoPs (there is a total of 2299 SoPs).

What we have tallied shows as follows:

APNU+AFC – 182,176
PPP/C – 157,947

That represents a lead of 24,229.

But what does this all mean? Can PPP/C still take the lead?

We do not believe they can.

Why?

For a number of reasons.

1. Of the 274 SoPs outstanding, 120 of those are from Region 4. Region 4 is an APNU+AFC stronghold.

2. 33 of the SoPs outstanding are from Region 7. Region 7 is an APNU+AFC stronghold.

3. 24 of the SoPs outstanding are from Region 10. Region 10 is an APNU+AFC stronghold.

That represents a total of 177 SoPs (out of 274) from APNU+AFC strongholds. For the PPP to begin to even have a sniff they would have to be trouncing us really badly in these three stronghold regions. That is virtually impossible.

Therefore we are confident that the results are inevitable and GECOM can only announce one result – an APNU+AFC Coalition win.

Please remain calm and resolute and let us await GECOM’s official announcement which I would think would come sometime in the next 12-18 hours.

The major post of preliminary results were primarily in the main PNC areas, like Georgetown and related areas, MacKenzie-Wismar area.

The PNC attempted the biggest con job in Guyana's political history. The ABC countries and the Independent International Observers did not buy into it.

This was an attempt to create confusion.

POSTED by the GENERAL SECRETARY OF THE AFC - David Patterson - (Folks, firstly I would like to congratulate all Guyanese on their conduct during the past elections, I am extremely proud of how we conducted ourselves. Secondly, I understand that we would be anxious to ascertain what are the results, this no doubt is a direct product of how past results would have been announced, these past elections would have changed all the rules, from the historic Cummingburg Accord to the campaign messaging and focus of the Alliance. In messages of change and progress. Today, started off with the incumbent reporting that they won this elections by the slimmest margin of 3,000 votes, despite all these wild public statements, the PC and PM candidates requested that the Alliance exercise restraint.

After computing 96% of the votes in region #2, 85% of the votes in region #3, 95% of the votes in region #5, 98%of the votes in region #6; 93% of the votes in east coast Demerara; 96% of east bank Demerara, 78% of Georgetown (traditionally an Alliance stronghold), 97% of region #9 and 81% of region #10 (another Alliance stronghold), it was assessed that the Alliance had such a commanding lead, which would be statistically unrealistic that with the remaining ballots (most being in the Alliance stronghold) that the voter difference of over 24k could be surpassed, it was then important to declare these numbers that would have already been in the public domain via SOPs posted at polling stations.
While the Alliance is aware that the only legal authority to declare final results is GECOM, it was important to inform the voting public of these results.

Finally, it is the duty of gecom to declare the results, thus we urge them to complete their important duties as soon as possible, so that they can confirm what is now known, that there has been a change of government.)

You are losing your touch. They do not care to challenge it nor would they benefit from doing so even if they did indeed do as you accuse them of doing. In the morning, if the tea leaves are right, the PPP would have their walking papers.
