Mixing politics with religion is shameful and unacceptable. More so, to see Amna Ali at the helm of the event in Hindu garbs. The social cohesion message would have been more effective if it was lectured in public, schools and communities on regular basis. A program that's created to unite the nation is dividing them if you only seeking political recognition.

Dude wake up. The PPP had their holy man ( albeit a rapist) and doted on him and he held sway over his flock as a living saint even though he was crud. They paid him a stipend until he croaked as their official priest and adviser on staff, with state funds. They also implanted all his children in cozy leech positions.

As Hindu royalty they were official interpreters of the faith until the last Diwali when they felt snubbed because they did not get to declare the official date for festivities. PPP subversion of Indians to its ideology has always been coincident with religion as their primary tool and official dog whistle they blew to bring compliance to flock to party. This cry about mixing religion and politics is unadulterated crap.

Same old strategy tried by Burnham - remember Maha Sabha and people like Gowkaran Sharma who became a Minister in the PNC Government?

Why is this a "strategy" when the PPP use of  Repu was "normal"? Is this another whining that Moses was a nimakharam because he did not toe the line? Why must indians be seen as totally bound to the PPP and if they leave they become "tainted"? Has any of you sat back and reflected what it means for a person to make decisions independent of that party and not be deemed race traitors?
