Mohamed’s Enterprise, YK Investments Pawn Shop continue support for Boyce/ Jefford Track and Field Classic VIII

Mohamed’s Enterprise and YK Investments Pawn Shop Thursday announced their sponsorship of the Kares Engineering Inc. Boyce/Jefford Track and Field Classic VIII, which is set for this weekend at the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) Ground, Linden.
Mohamed’s Enterprise is one of the foundation sponsors of the event and Managing Director of the company, Nazar Mohamed said that they will continue to support the competition in Linden as it gives the community something to call their own.
Similarly, YK Investments Pawn Shop came in Thursday with its support. Proprietor, Marlon Yenkana said that it is important that the entity continue to partner with the event as it continues to grow year after year.
Chairman of the Boyce &Jefford Classic Management Committee, Colin Boyce, thanked the companies for their support, adding that without the continued efforts of sponsors, the meet cannot continue to import athletes aimed at raising the bar locally.
There will be six international races at this year’s Boyce & Jefford Classic that will attract cash prizes of US$250, US$150 and US$100 for first to third for a total of US$500 or GUY $100,000.
The International Events include: Males: 200m, 800m, Long Jump; Females: 200m, 1500m, Long Jump. A total of GUY $600,000 or US$3000 will be handed out in the six International Events, in addition to a total of $2M to the top four Clubs.
