Let's help make Mitt Romney the next president of the United States. We really need to send Obama packing. Obama is out of touch with main stream Americans. The economy is still staggering. The national deficit have reached a record high. The unemployment rate is increasing. Obama agree with guy marriages. We don't need a president who will sell out America and bow to a foreign king. America needs to regain its strength with a Republican president in the White House.

Obama is out of touch with main stream Americans.

Obama's father left him when he was a toddler. Raised by a single parent and he being of mixed race, went to Colombia and Harvard. Obama recently paid off his student loan.

Romney's father was a well-heeled politician and General Manager.,,,,etc. Now who is in touch with mainstream Americans.

Obama agree with guy marriages. I guess "guy" here means "gay"

Has anyone seen the polling of Americans who agree with equal rights for single-sex marriage?

......bow to a foreign king.

Has anyone seen the videos of G. W. Bush holding the Saudi Sheik's hands like Hema Malini and Dharmendra?

The national deficit have reached a record high.

If God was the President of the US (POTUS) he would have racked up high Federal debt, as he would have done the following:

1. Add the Iraq and Afghanistan war cost ($1 trillion) to the accounts of the Federal Government.

2. Would have been forced to keep Medicare Part "D" in place by the GOP ($1trillion)

3. Would have been forced to keep the Bush Tax cuts ($1trillion)

4. Would have spent $3/4 trillion to bail out the banks so as to not cause a 1929 Depression globally - a bank collapse caused by you-know-who.

5. Would have spent $3/4 trillion to provide States to help in their deficits caused by their lower revenues due to a housing sector whose values (and ATM-like wealth effect) were heavily depressed.

6. Would have been stared down by a corporate sector that says I can produce an iPhone in China for $25 and sell it for $500, and can't do that in the US.

I can go on and on.

America needs to regain its strength

It has - just look at how weak America was in 2008 and look how its economy, military and influence around the globe has gained strength.

When are we going to do justice to ourselves as Guyanese-Americans or Guyanese-in-the-diaspora by presenting cogent, sensible discourse and stop wallowing in biased, obnoxious spittle as your contribution? I would apologize to a non-Guyanese who were to visit upon these silly stupid statements and say it's just a minority that has since been properly schooled.

Bow to a foreign king, my foot

Out of touch.....my ass

Think about the aggregate demand loss and the velocity of money that slowed when this guy took office. Think of the services employees, like restaurant workers, as people had to rebuild their wealth after 2008.

This do-nothing Republican Congress refuses to pass the President's Jobs bill. Why did they authorize the Infrastructure Bill of 2005 under Bush -the Highway development bill - and have not approved the President's infrastructure bank and jobs bill?

Like the lungeerahs on this Board, they can't stand the Black Man in the White House. Like Mitch McConnell, they want to make him a one-term President. That idiot who hides behind the handle Rev will soon post an Obama photo that has a Hitler mustache - such is the bigotry of this group of unrepresentative Guyanese-in-the-diaspora.

Mitt Romney will be the 45th President of the United States. The country desperately needs a genuine leader. A leader is a man who creates confidence. A leader is a man who corrects mistakes. Mitt Romney is that man. What we have right now in the white house is a pathetic blamer. Obama loves to blame others for his failures. The American people are disgusted with Obama. He has been a disaster as President. Come November the country will elect a new President. Thank God!

Under Clinton technology boomed. Under Bush financial products boomed. Under Obama you have a confluence of materials science and technology that is leading the way - bio-tech, DNA, etc.

In 2008 you used to think of Al Qaeda and bombing - I go work on Wall St everyday, so I'm intimate with the feelings then and now. Today, Al Qaeda is like history book reading. Thanks to Obama. You want a stronger America? See how Obama got countries to cooperate on terror as well as guiding them out of the financial crisis. What would Romney have done? Kill the auto industry. Let the mortgage crisis result in millions of homes unoccupied and soup kitchens. Who the hell would have invested in that climate? Look at the US energy sector in the recent petroleum industry report. We have shale gas supplies that make Saudi Arabia look like a junior partner. Gas for another 100 years!

Where do you want to go? Romney or Obama? America is on the rise. The Republicans sell doom. Obama sells optimism.

Rev....you have lost all credibility as a serious partner in discourse. My attempt at educating you can only go so far in the realm of reason and rationality and empirical evidence. The majority of your being is bigoted, racist, and plain vile. Where I can, I will avoid paying attention to you. In other cases my better instinct at making humanity better I will engage you to show you the light. When the demographic factor and the electoral college math make Obama a 2-term President you will not have been chastened. Instead your bigotry would have gone to new heights. Like the Mormon characterizing Blacks as devil-worshipers until 1978?

To borrow a line from Jack Nicholson---you can't handle the truth karimullah. And the truth is your hero Barack Hussein is now perceived by the majority of Americans as an abysmal failure.

Here are some of the knocks against Obama:

* lack of leadership---he is a blamer not a leader.

* his rhetoric is loaded with intentional lies and deception

* His policies are misguided

* His spending has been obscene---added 5 trillion in debt

* Recently there has been a deliberate leaking of highly sensitive National security intelligence by members of the Obama administration to the NY times.

OBAMA IS A BLAMER NOT A LEADER. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE UTTERLY DISGUSTED BY THIS MAN. HE HAS BEEN A DISASTER. THE REV IS 99.9999% CONFIDENT OBAMA WILL BE A ONE TERM PRESIDENT.

Give praise to Mitt Romney---a genuine leader and America's next President.

A man who was a rock of solid support against white hate in South Africa is cut to pieces by that ungrate Obama and his hench men in the desert. That is only one example. I got many others which I will not post here.

I will not be suprised if Obama may end up in prison after he is defeated. He may have been carrying out a hidden war of assassinations which the congress may not have known about.

Don't agree with you, but surely he has failed to move the economy. But he sure as hell unclenched his fist and slapped around a few Islamists.

Obama was overly confident and thought his communication skills will get people to move. His populace style does not get tings done in the halls of power and the people will eventually measure him based on that.

Obama is as main stream American as you can get. Raised by white folks, ivy league education and liked by enough people to be in the white house? You did not even grow up in RH and probably went to a state school and the only white people you know are the ones that hire you. That crap coming from white folks is strange enough and obviously heavily racially dipped in code talk. But coming from a brown-skinned immigrant it smacks of stupidity.

ARTHUR DAVIS: FMR DEM REP & PROMINENT OBAMA BACKER SUPPORTING MITT ROMNEY

Artur Davis, former Democrat Representative and high-profile Obama supporter, once dubbed the ‘Obama of Alabama’, is now a Republican. And, he’s voting for Governor Mitt Romney.

READ THIS:

“ I’m going to vote for Governor Romney. â€Ķ I think he has the potential to be a very good president in this country.

You leave a party because on the whole range of issues you just don’t feel the comfort, you don’t feel the home anymore. That’s where I am but I’m not alone. Millions of Americans who supported the Democratic Party four years ago have left because they no longer see their views and their common sense represented in the Democratic Party.” – Artur Davis

Only the kool-aid drinkers like karimullah, demerara guy and 90% of Guyanese posters here remain loyal to Obama.

Stormborn, don't try to pull this "You are a darkie so support Obama crap". Obama may continue to fool you into supporting him. But that black on the outside and white inside man will not fool me this time around. I am voting for anyone except Obama. Obama is a danger to American minorities.

I suggest you re read what I said and take it for its intent not for your projections. But since you asked, I feel no kinship with a man who never possibly flew second class or sat on a train or in a cab or ever was in a position where he can have the common touch that grasps working class life. You can vote for whomever you please but that does not mean you can make silly claims that OBama is anti minority. I wonder what republican policy in the past decades could be construed as pro minority.

How did Ronald Reagan do that? Please elaborate. The past two recent great presidents were Reagan and Clinton. Apart from the Iraq War, Bush "may" have turned out great. Obama's first term has not been impressive, apart from slapping around those Islamists.

Davis is bitter that he did not get support he wanted and lost his elections. He will have to bear his cross because it is lonely for a black man on the republican side. You actually can count black folks at the republican convention. Besides him and Herman Cain plus a couple of Indians there is a severe lack of color on the other side. They do not seem to care since they do not campaign in minority districts and are instrumental in every strategy to put up roadblocks to minority voting.

Correction, Obama IS a BUST.

How so? Saving Wall Street, The Auto Industry, the Housing Market, Stabalising Oil Price.

Did he, I thought the whole wall street thing started under Bush. Obama did what Bush had planned anyway. The Auto industry would have morphed one way or another. The housing market is where it has been for few years, at it's "natural" low. Stabilising Oil? Oil prices are not politically driven in the short run, except for Geo-politics. Obama has little of no influence.

He is a BUST as he has failed to move the larger economy along. It had a natural bounce after 2008 and is now meandering. Little magic to anything. Rumour is Obama Care might be voted down 5-4.

Green Dragon....this is a thoughtful piece....really, I mean it. These nut heads that provide political commentary know very little about pax Americanna and they spout the same shyte they read in blogs and Fox Noise.

You put it cogently enough.

What can I say, guess neemakaran is more than a two-sided coin. In Guyana, blacks vote blacks even if they fail, same with Indians. In the US a black man was voted in by many whites over another white. Now it's time for change and we apply the "Guyana" formula.

Truth is, Obama has not moved the economic needle, so time to re-think. I'm not sold yet on anyone, but watching.

Baseman, the question voters will be asked is not whether the economy sucks - everyone knows what was inherited in 2008. The question will be where is Obama taking us and what would Romney have done if he were President, and what ideas he has now.

There are many clues and facts at hand. But to ask whether anyone could have done better has to take a few realities into consideration. I will list some.

 • How can consumers regain $34 trillion of equity wealth destroyed in the 2008 financial meltdown?
 • How can we get homeowners to regain housing values so they can continue their normal path of demand and consumption?
 • How can the American economy be restructured to accommodate a growing entitlement population relative to the productive population?
 • How can the cost of the biggest spending item (outside the military) be reined in (health cost)?

We've seen how the relationship between Congress and Obama has been and you wonder if there a Parliamentary style governance and Obama had his way whether there would have been stimulus now to create jobs and demand and tackle deficits longer term. We know that Romney would have let the auto industry be gone (no private equity to sustain a managed bankruptcy and keep the 1 million jobs and their spending in other sectors of the economy). We know of Romney's plan to let the market squeeze out 30 million insured and put medicare in jeopardy. Those are just two examples.

Other than the economy Romney has the demographic (Hispanic) battle (remember voluntary deportation?) and the likability factor (Obama is wau ahead of him). In 2010 mid-terms you had a historic low turnout of the youth vote (20%). Also Romney will be faced in the debates with serious questions about handling Commander-in-chief stuff and foreign policy. We've seen how he fumbled in the primaries. Then Romney will be asked to justify his social positions on gay marriage, contraception, abortion, etc. It will be a fun Fall debate.

Kari

HERE IS A GREAT BUMPER STICKER---100% TRUTHFUL

It will, indeed, be the end of an error---in 2008 Americans took a chance and put a lil pissing tail muslim born Kenyan in the white house---big, big mistake---Hussein turned out to be a grotesque disaster---never again will such an egregious mistake be made by the American people. Time for a genuine leader, a white mormon, to take over the leadership of our great country. That man is Mitt Romney.
