The problem with the PPP was Naga and Rumjhat. Both wanted power and they undermined the PPP to make sure that if they don't wield the power, no one will. It was Rumjhat who was brown nosing to the US embassy every week. That's the reason Jagdeo made life in the PPP miserable for him. Good riddance to both of them. With a good, young and bold leader, PPP will rise again soon.

Check out Page 23 of the 2016 Budget and we all know a budget is an estimate, but what the 2015 audit report is that these people not underspending on the billion dollar travel budget, they outspending Jagdeo by over 250 million.
But when it come to spending on the people, they under spending.

Are you seriously saying that Garnger spent as much a Jagdeo on travelling? jagdeo was only in Guyana a couple of days a week in the whole of the period that he was president. Just ask Nehru, who was tasked with holding Jagdeo's credit card.

In corporate America there are guidelines for business travel expenses. I would imaging that the Guyana Parliament would have passed similar guidelines limiting what Government officials can spend and how much they have to pay out-of-pocket. A Budget document is an aggregation of spending. What's more useful is the amount spent over approved limits for hotels, meals, airfares, local transportation, miscellany, etc. Do we know whether Nagamootoo's recent trip to India was funded ENTIRELY by the Tamil Association in India, for instance?
So Bharat Jagdeo expenses were all authorized by his Govt.
