Embattled Region Four Returning Officer Clairmont Mingo, Chairperson of the People’s National Congress Reform Volda Lawrence, and APNU/AFC activist Carol Joseph have been released on bail after they were slapped with several charges in relation to electoral fraud.

Lawrence is facing an additional forgery charge for which she was granted bail in the sum of $30,000.

Mingo and Joseph were jointly charged with one count of forgery. They are also facing two counts each of conspiracy to defraud. They were each granted bail in the sum of $30,000 on each charge.

The trio are expected to return to court on October 28.

Only last week, Lawrence was slapped with two conspiracy to defraud charges and was released on $50,000 bail on each charge.

Lawrence is already facing private criminal charges jointly with Mingo, for forging electoral documents in an effort to defraud the country.

She was arraigned in August on this charge and placed a $100,000 bail.

In addition to the private criminal charge – for which he is out on self-bail – Mingo was charged by the police and arraigned on four counts of misconduct in public office. He is currently on $600,000 bail.

The Indians will go back to India.  The Indo-Guyanese gon suck sal or wuss.

Why are you trying to undermine the integrity of the Indian People?

Supposition is the Mother of all screwups.  Granger is dead and gone with the downfall of the PNC. He will never rise up again.  Let's suppose that the Indians go back to India, what do you think will happen to the economy of the country.

The APNU/AFC supporters are trying very hard to make this country ungovernable.  Why? The Coalition took over a great infrastructure and they destroyed everything they put their hands on.  They even took credit for the PPP's projects that made the country prosperous. Their inept attitude and blatant disregard for the lives of the Guyanese people have been the main reason why they are sitting on the opposition benches.  That's where they are going to be for the next 30 years if they don't change their attitude.

Doan get kratchety or chupidy on me now, I looking out for your well being.  A pot o tea, some crackers with marmite is a good ting.

Similar to most in the PPP, Rama is always in such a defensive mindset,  that he can't perceive any other type of post. He even took it personally when someone post a general article, without comments.

The PPP like people like Rama. When dem finish chewing them in lil pieces, they just spit dem out.

If the PPP supporters, who are mostly farmers do not produce, Guyana is in for a famine just as in Africa. We have seen that blacks like the inner city life and desk jobs. This has nothing to do with race.

If the blacks don't spend their money on the farmers produce what happens then?  Nothing to do with race.

Why you bring race into this? Most Blacks don't like farming in Guyana. They prefer city life. No one said they are not gainfully employed and do not spend their money. If the blacks don't spend their money on the Indians' produce, other races do. I have noticed going to the market in Guyana. Blacks prefer to choose blacks to do their purchases. The Indians do the same. It's a washout.
