MOON SIGHTING ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SHAWWAL 1436 AH
Respected Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaamu Alaikum,

The Central Moon Sighting Committee of Guyana (CMSCG) has declared the 1st of Shawwal 1436 AH to be on Saturday, 18th July 2015.
The new crescent for the Islamic lunar month of Shawwal 1436 AH was not sighted on Thursday,16th July, 2015/29th Ramadhan 1436 AH. Therefore, Ramadhan 1436 AH completes 30 days on Friday, 17th July, 2015.

Therefore, EIDUL FITR WILL BE OBSERVED ON SATURDAY, 18TH JULY, 2015.
