What an honor to help longtime Judge Ali Majeed & wife Yasmine celebrate the judge’s 50th year of American citizenship. He came from Guyana as a young man with little more than a suit case and dreams. Through hard work, great faith and persistence, he became the epitome of the American Dream, and a mentor and role model to many.

There were many in attendance to praise and honor Judge Majeed. Local attorney Greg Eisenmenger summed it up well saying we are all blessed the judge chose America.

If you were called for jury duty over years past, chances are you were treated to extraordinary memorable lectures by Judge Majeed. Don’t know that I have ever heard patriotism more passionately described. His heartfelt and informative remarks to prospective jurors, were always followed by a clearly noticeable change in jurors’ attitudes. Those who previously dreaded the call to jury duty became enthusiastic about the responsibility.

-Bill Posey  - Congressman.
